#beltane This is my favourite and least favourite time of year.

Favourite because we’re between Ostara and Beltane my two fave sabbats. Celebrating renewal, rebirth, life and love.

Least because we are hammered by Halloween iconography everywhere we turn. Symbols connected to Samhain which is currently in the northern hemisphere.

This isn’t about north v south… it’s about alignment. My energy ends up out of whack as it’s in a period of renewal but surrounded by energy headed towards sleep/rest.

Ostara blessings! Enjoy the rebirth. Smell the flowers. Feel the warmth of the sun. Breathe.

Reading the comments on posts lately, it’s clear some people would benefit more from learning history than watching Married at First Sight… so here we are.
You shouldn’t have to be Jewish to be horrified by what’s unfolding in Australia and globally. Jewish schools needing police protection (while others don’t), Jewish businesses being targeted, students being told universities can’t keep them safe, people advised to hide symbols of their identity… and Jews being attacked or killed simply for being Jewish. If that doesn’t disturb you, it should.
And let’s be honest — if this were happening to almost any other group, there’d be outrage in the streets.
But I am Jewish, through my mum’s side. 26%. That ancestry alone would have been enough to get me shot into a ditch or burned in an oven in 1940s Europe. That’s not dramatic — it’s historical fact.
Jews don’t control banks or media — if they did, the current narrative would look very different. They aren't committing genocide anywhere - there are more 'Palestinians' in the region than Jews. They make up 0.2% of global population. They didn't originate in Europe; "real jews" aren't black. Skin colour is an accident of genetics and geography. When you've been forced to run to other countries over and over, for millenia, you exist as a minority almost everywhere — not because of “victimhood,” but because of history.
If you’re Christian, you worship a Jewish carpenter - the end. Who was killed by Romans BTW not Jews, using a Roman method of capital punishment.
I’m also Celtic and identify strongly with that heritage — but that doesn’t make me any less Jewish. And even if I weren’t, I’d still speak up.
Because “never again” isn’t a platitude. It’s a warning.
You can criticise Israeli politics — plenty of Jews do. Without fear of execution. But targeting Jews globally isn’t activism. It’s antisemitism. Full stop.
History shows exactly where this path leads. and we are seeing it play out on repeat right here, right now. Do you intend to do what YOUR ancestors did and turn a blind eye thinking "thank god that's not happening to me"? Because trust me once there are no more Jews, guess whose turn it is next...#antisemitism by @gaiaswisdom

Happy Friday 13th!

Some say Friday the 13th is unlucky… but I’m convinced it’s just excellent PR for black cats 😼✨
Embrace the mystery, find the magic in the ordinary, and give a little extra love to the creatures who’ve been unfairly judged for centuries. 🐈‍⬛✨

Hope your Friday the 13th brings more charm than chaos. 🖤🐾 by @gaiaswisdom

Lammas honours the ancient tradition of gathering the season’s first grain in thanksgiving for the harvest. It’s a moment to appreciate the earth’s abundance and the fruits of our labour, both literal and symbolic. Today, let’s give thanks for nourishment, renewal, and the cycles that sustain us all.
