Happy New Year from the Galway Flute Academy!

Merry Christmas from Sir James, Lady Jeanne and everyone at the Galway Flute Academy! 🌟🎄

As we reach the end of another year, we want to extend our heartfelt holiday wishes to all of our students, families, and friends around the world.

May this festive season bring you joy, warmth and plenty of time to play beautiful music! by @galwayfluteacademy

Don’t miss out on tomorrow’s Adult Learners Session with Lady Jeanne Galway at 7pm CET! ✨

Have you ever explored the Stamitz G Major Concerto? The third movement, Rondo. Allegro, is a wonderful piece that also works beautifully as a standalone performance with piano accompaniment.

This joyful, virtuosic movement showcases so many of the techniques we love to bring to life in our playing — single and double tonguing, flowing scales, lyrical legato lines, and plenty of musical sparkle. It’s a piece that brings joy not only to the listener, but to us as performers too.

Let’s end the year with joy in our playing, learning and sharing music together in this special Adult Learners Session.

Wise words from Lady Galway, echoing the importance and value of guidance and mentorship - “Mentors were always there, all along the way to help me pursue my passion and dreams. My journey has been a very simple one - I have loved teaching since I was 12-years-old, for this reason, I seek to keep music education alive and available to all."

Lady Jeanne continues to share her passion for education and guidance, via the Galway Flute Academy, which has brought together thousands of flutists and music lovers for numerous years! by @galwayfluteacademy
