Grief…we all deal with it in our own way; we learn navigate through life without the loved ones whom meant so much. Grieving is Hard. This piece has so much meaning to it, not only for the person who I created for, but for myself. The last time I created anything from scratch was in Sept. 2023 after the passing of my mom. I stopped taking on party orders, so I could spend more time with my family. Almost a year later Sept. 2024, my dad passed while diving at Round Tables. I was in disbelief and heartbroken. I lost all interest in creating and thought about selling everything. I didn’t, and took time for myself, in hopes that it would come back. Slowly the creativity is coming back. So when I received a call asking if I could make a card box, with an 🐙 I almost declined to do it. This particular piece and the event it was created for, hit different. I was honored that she chose me to create such piece for her. ❤️
