At the end of this video, youโ€™ll see the men of gatsbyzhouse ๐Ÿคญ Do you recognize any plant in this video? If yes, which? Iโ€™d love to know! ๐Ÿ˜‹๐Ÿซถ๐Ÿฝ #gatsbyzhouse #balconygarden #balconydecor #menofthehouse #balcony #plantlover #plantmum #plantsofinstagram #plantersinlagos #aestheticlifestyle by @gatsbyzhouse
This gorgeous rubber plant is one of the first things I see every morning. I sourced her months ago and transplanted her so sheโ€™s one of my babies. Sheโ€™s one of the easiest plants to care for so Iโ€™d definitely recommend to new plant parents. She also serves as a slight window blocker to prevent people from easily seeing me on my bed through my window ๐Ÿ’€ I love her ๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿฅฐ #bedroomdecor #rubberplant #interiordecor #indoorplantinspo #indoorplants #bedroom #persianrug #plantmum #plantinginlagos #plantlover by @gatsbyzhouse
Lighting this beautiful candle a friend bought me for my birthday in May. This was the beginning of a beautiful night of dancing and numerous expressions. โœจ 08.07.23 #livingdiaries #gatsbyzhouse #candles #flowerpetals #allthingssoft #livingroomdecor #cozyhome #objectsofaffection #birthdaygifts by @gatsbyzhouse

The Balfour Aralia is a favorite. ๐Ÿ’• You can tell it has a lot of character. #indoorplants #gatsbyshouse #aralia #balfouraralia #architecture #plantlover #plants #intentionalspaces #interiordesign #wood #woodencrate #yellowplanter #plantphotography #plantlife #homedecor #artsyhome #araliabalfour #nigerianplants by @gatsbyzhouse
Pinks and greens make the ultimate palette. I've fallen in love with these colours. They are so forgiving and beautiful. They pop and make you happy, even when you're down. I'm comforted in this space. It gives airy, light, soft, everything I love ๐Ÿ’• ๐ŸŒž-----------๐ŸŒž My bedside corner remains ever transforming. Fun fact: I'm currently training the Rubber plant in the corner to stand upright. Who can guess how? #bedroom #bedroomdecor #interiordesign #pinkbed #bohemiandecor #intentionalspaces #homedecor by @gatsbyzhouse
I liked this view a few nights ago ๐Ÿ˜ I like how the warm candle light cast moving shadows of the objects around them against surrounding objects and the wall. This console is far from getting an internal 'so good!' from me but I like how it looks so far. I also like the incense burner and Japanese Kokeshi dolls I found on @junksandstuff. The dolls are definitely objects of affection in this house. I have another artwork inspired by Kokeshi dolls hanging somewhere in my house. I'll probably make a post about the dolls sometime soon. I haven't had breakfast on the balcony in a while. It's been super dusty because of the harmattan season, floating in and out of Lagos. But yesterday evening, I did some 'spring' cleaning for the balcony. Revamped the mats, cleaned all the dust, rearranged the plants a bit and misted them. Today, it's so breezy out here and everything looks and smells so good. So my creative outlet for the day is this. A video of me living my life, as authentic as I can. The music I chose reflects what I've been listening to all morning. Life is good, there is balance and I am happy. ๐Ÿ’œ P.S: my aloe vera is becoming the star of the show #housedecor #balconygarden #interiordesign #intentionalspaces #meditation #morningrituals #journal #journaling #dancingplants #breeze #lagos #homedecor #housearchives #gatsbyshouse #art #breakfast #raffiamat #aloevera #indoorplants #dolls by @gatsbyzhouse
Day and night in my bedroom; with the sunset lamp I got for my birthday last year. A reminder that I know some of the best humans ๐Ÿฅบ๐Ÿ’œ I occasionally like to leave the lamp's setting on 'smooth'. It's not so bad, pretty smooth if I do say so myself ๐Ÿฅน Also, new sheets! They're pink and so cozy and fluffy. This ever evolving space made my week a little easier on me and I'm grateful for that. #tiktokreel ๐Ÿ˜‚ #prefriday #bedroomspaces #interiordecor #sunsetlamp #indoorplants #rubberplant #decor #light #bedroom #pinkbed #bohemian #bohostyle #vintage #vintagestyle #interiordesign #mirror #vintagerug #colours #intimatespace #housedecor #homedecor #houseart #intentionalspaces by @gatsbyzhouse
I was sitting down charging my phone beside my TV and this song came on. I looked up and looked around... and I saw this. I want to hold onto the memory of a lot of things here. The stories behind each one. ๐Ÿ“– The displaced (I'm currently sitting in it's usual spot) yucca stem plant standing in two planters , one will go to another plant soon. Maybe tomorrow. The reindeers on the shelf above, a remnant of Christmas. Fun times. ๐ŸฆŒ๐ŸŒฒ The walls. I really need to do something about them. I'll not think too much about if I should spend the money. Key phrase is 'too much'. I really love how that paper lantern hangs. ๐Ÿฎ And this is typically how my parlour looks when I say it needs to be arranged. ๐Ÿคช #interiordesign #interiorspaces #comfy #sittingroomdecor #sittingroom #parlour #indoorplants #bohostyle #bohemian #throwpillows #pink #green #rug #blackcouch by @gatsbyzhouse
My little pre-yoga dance this morning ๐Ÿ˜ Showing a cross-section of my parlour. Perfect for recording myself doing yoga. I want more plants in here but we shall see how that goes. I miss the days the sun came into the house, visiting. It filled the whole room and danced its gentle dance, with the wind on its back.
