Sterling silver ornaments 4 2006, 5 2007, and 6 2008.
A mobile, which harkens back to my start with sheet metal. The next one, 5, is when this group gets interesting. By now, my son has specific interests. Trains especially. I wanted to somehow incorporate trains into the design. I wasn’t really happy with what I was coming up with. Then it hit he, a Candy Cane train track. Every year since, the ornaments revolved around what happened that year. Number 6 was @otto_smotrys next passion, dinosaurs. This ornament was copied directly from one of his drawings. And it’s about 8” long.

It’s that time of year again. I started this yearly tradition back in 2003. That’s when my son, @otto_smotrys was born. I decided I would make him a Sterling silver tree ornament every year. As time went by, the ornaments became more specific about an event that occurred that year. The first four are somewhat generic but still very sweet. There’s his name. His name imbedded in a fish(he’s a Pisces. And a snowman. Who doesn’t love a snowman!

Another wedding table scape photo.
I love seeing our numbers out in the wild!
They’ll look this great on your table setting as well.

A client wanted a custom sign on a shelf to place outside. It took a little convincing but he agreed to pay a little more and get a heavier stock then I normally use.

Had a paper clip feeding frenzy last week.
I went to a party,,someone asked if I had any with me.
I said yes and put all that I had on the counter.
They were snapped up in minutes.

Appreciation post: we’ve collaborated with @westelm for several years, they may be big, but they give us full agency and credit. The platform is so clean, so Gaugenyc! It’s a great partnership.🙏❤️

I don’t know where to begin. The Calder show @fondationlv was simply wonderful. It was both a serious dive into the artist and a celebration of his life and work. My only regret is I didn’t go back a second day to absorb a little more.

Still making my paperclips. If you see my on the street ask me for a couple. I really enjoy giving them away to people that I think will appreciate them.
