Empowering excellent care at Georgian Bay General Hospital. 💙 Sharing stories of community, generosity & local impact.

Mental health is health. And it matters to all of us. 💙 A parent. A teenager. A friend. A neighbour. Any of us can find ourselves needing mental health support. That’s why mental health is a cornerstone of our "We See You: Inside & Out" campaign. GBGH has a plan to bring dedicated acute mental health care to our community, including 24 acute mental health beds. The Foundation has designated $10-million to support expanded mental health services and space, ready to move forward when provincial approvals come. Because when someone needs help, they deserve to be seen, supported and cared for close to home. Together, we’re strengthening health care today while preparing for the needs of tomorrow. 💙 WeSeeYouGBGH.ca #WeSeeYouGBGH #MentalHealthIsHealth #ExcellentCareCloseToHome #WorldMentalHealthDay by @gbghfoundation
For seven years, Melissa Robinson has honoured the memory of her daughter, Celia Marie, through annual bake sales in support of @GBGHMidland. 💕 Last year’s proceeds helped GBGH purchase a new Vital Signs Monitor for the Emergency Department. This year, funds will help support a new Fetal Health & Maternal Monitoring System for the Obstetrics Department, helping provide safe, responsive care for our littlest patients. Be part of this meaningful tradition! Stop by the GBGH Lobby during Celia's Bake Sale, pick up a delicious treat, and help make a difference for patients and families in our community. 🗓️ Friday, November 6 | 11:30 am to 1:30 pm 🗓️ Monday, November 30 | 11:30 am to 1:30 pm Every treat purchased and every donation made helps make excellent care personal. Thank you, Melissa, and to all the participating local businesses and community members who continue to honour Celia’s memory in such a meaningful way. Our region is a special place to call home, from the people who live here year-round to the families who return to enjoy our shores each summer. And one thing we all share? The importance of having a local hospital we can count on when we need it most. A big thank you to the Woodland Beach Property Owners’ Association for their $1,000 donation in support of our We See You campaign! As association board member Dave Seagrave put it, unexpected health concerns remind us how important it is to have quality healthcare nearby for ourselves and the people we love. That’s what community support is all about. 💙 When neighbours, local organizations and businesses come together, they help make excellent care personal for everyone who lives, visits and works here. Thank you to the Woodland Beach Property Owners’ Association and its members for being part of that impact! #WeSeeYou #GBGHFoundation #CommunitySupport #NorthSimcoe by @gbghfoundation
