I played football ⚽️ until age 18. Loved running after a ball 😊 Did not like to run without it.
In april 2024 23 years later, I went for a run, a 5K. A local 5K race where coming up few weeks later. I signed up, I ran one more 5K before the race. After the race I was hooked. I made all new mistakes. But learned along the way, an stayed consistent.

I went from hating running, to loving it. It's now my meditation, my free space. It also helps my fibromyalgia.
So I guess it's a win, win for me 🥳

What’s next. A big race next Juli. 125K with over 6000m elevation. Terirfied, exited and humble, all at the same time.

Backyard nr.3 Another new yard. Excited and curious about this yard.
I will need to get to know this yard before raceday, be mentally prepared 🙏
My plan now, is to use this as a practice race for Backyard Herdla, but also for my Voss-Bergen race.

It's just to keep working and building the fitness and mental toughness 🔥

It's important to listen to your body 🙏 But it's also important to push and build in order to feel better. The balance is not always easy.

I just thought of something... what about doing a Backyard on the treadmill, eating and sleeping on the treadmill. Maybe I try it sometime this winter 🙈
