🏃🏽‍♂️ 12.2KM DONE! 🔥🥵

First long run in a few days, and Dubai made sure I WORKED for every kilometre! ☀️🥵🇦🇪

The heat was brutal, the legs were feeling it, and honestly, this was one of those runs where just getting it done felt like a victory.

Not every run is about pace. Not every run is about breaking records. Sometimes it’s simply about showing up, putting in the work, and reminding yourself why you started. 💪🏽

12.2KM in the bank. Wasn’t pretty, wasn’t easy, but WE GOT IT DONE! ✅

One run at a time. One day at a time. The journey continues! 🏃🏽‍♂️🔥

💬 Runners, what’s tougher for you — the distance or running in the heat? 👇🏽

I missed my morning run today.

I overslept, and by the time I got outside, Dubai was already an oven.

The easy option would’ve been to skip it and tell myself I’d try again tomorrow.

Instead, I changed the plan—not the goal.

So I laced up, headed out, and got it done.

It was 39 degrees, there wasn’t a breath of wind, and you could feel the heat with every single step.

The plan was 8K… and I did run 8K.

Unfortunately, my Garmin had other ideas and died halfway through, so it only recorded 5.8K.

Sometimes the data doesn’t tell the whole story.

But I know what I did.

Another day. Another promise kept.

Because consistency isn’t about perfect conditions—it’s about showing up anyway. by @gee_running

Running has changed more than my fitness.

It’s changed the way I think about myself.

Every time I lace up my shoes—especially on the days I don’t feel like it—I’m proving that my excuses don’t get the final say.

Confidence isn’t something you wake up with.

It’s something you earn by keeping the promises you make to yourself, one day at a time.

That’s why I keep running.

Not because it’s easy.
Not because I’m always motivated.
But because I want to become someone my future self can rely on.

💬 What’s one promise you’re making to yourself this week?

We spend so much time planning our workouts…

…but almost no time thinking about what comes after them.

The truth is, recovery doesn’t start when you put your feet up. It starts with the choices you make in the kitchen.

You don’t need a perfect diet.
You don’t need expensive supplements.
You just need to fuel your body with intention.

Train hard. Recover smarter. Your next run depends on it.

🥣 What’s your go-to breakfast after a run? Let me know in the comments—I’m always looking for new ideas.

Every morning you have two choices.

Stay comfortable…
or become the person you said you wanted to be.

Nobody forced me out of bed this morning.
Nobody was waiting for me.
Nobody cared if I skipped.

But I care.

Because discipline isn’t built on the days you feel motivated.
It’s built on mornings exactly like this.

One run.
One promise kept.
Let’s keep stacking the days. 💪🏾🏃🏾‍♂️

30 Days Later.

Thirty days ago, I made one simple promise to myself: just show up.

I wasn’t chasing a personal best. I was rebuilding my body, my confidence, and most importantly, my discipline after injury.

Not every run was good.
Not every run was fast.
Some days, I didn’t want to run at all.

But those became the runs that mattered most.

The biggest lesson I learned wasn’t how to become a better runner.

It was how to become someone who keeps promises to himself.

Day 30 isn’t the end.

Today is Day 31, and the journey continues. This is no longer a challenge—it’s a lifestyle.

If you’ve been waiting for the right time to start your own journey, this is your sign.

You don’t have to run.

Just make one promise to yourself today… and keep it.

🏃 One run. One promise. Every day.

Nobody’s coming to save you.

Not your health.
Not your finances.
Not your mindset.
Not your dreams.

People can support you.
They can encourage you.
They can guide you.

But they can’t do the work for you.

Every workout you skip.
Every excuse you make.
Every opportunity you ignore.
Every habit you refuse to change…

The bill eventually comes due.

Your future is built by the choices you make today—not by the rescue you’re hoping for tomorrow.

Stop waiting for the perfect moment.
Stop waiting for motivation.
Stop waiting for someone else to change your life.

Be your own rescue.
