So much to be thankful for ❤️ Milo Austin Ward Diaz - Born May 21, 2025. He has been such a wonderful joy from his first day to today. And all the moments in between 📸 We are so blessed! by @geminina1
We’re so excited to meet our baby boy ☺️ Due end of May. Beyond grateful. And the only good reason worth having to miss allllll the Beyoncé AND Kendrick/Sza tour dates 😭 📸 ❤️Walter❤️ by @geminina1
Happy happy birthday to our beautiful, sweet, curious, on-the-go (because starting walking at 9m 😭), charming, fearless, dog/mango/ravioli/bath/book loving baby. He continues to surprise and delight us daily and many days I can’t believe I’m blessed enough to actually call him my son. Milo, you are our everything ❤️🎂 by @geminina1
A year ago I thought I could go out for a last hurrah dinner with my girls. Looked cute, even had a duck defrosting in the fridge to roast the next day. Sometimes it is like a movie: just as we were eating apps and I was joke asking my mom friends “will I even know if I’m in labor?!,” my water broke and it started immediately. Shout out to @jo_jojo_jj for paying the bill and calling Walter, to @theothermollyfrances for breathing techniques and @tsakibomb for quickly and calmly driving me to the hospital as I crushed her fingers. Only an eight minute drive to @bidmchealth but by the time we got there, my contractions were already less than two minutes apart. It took about two hours to get the epidural and after a few more hours, nothing was progressing and it became clear that he wasn’t going to come out on his own. I got about a 20 minute heads up to perfect my playlist before a C-section which was definitely the right call by my amazing doctors and nurses because the cord was wrapped around his neck. Early early morning, we got to meet our beautiful little miracle. Feel the heartbeat in real life that we had seen on a monitor so many times. Touch the little toes that had been kicking me in the left rib for the past two months. Stroke the hair that gave me heartburn for the first time in my life and the head that had been pressing down on my bladder. Every second was worth it. Milo continues to be the most wonderful, the most hardest, the most love-affirming thing I’ve ever done and I’m so lucky to be his mama. Happy birthday to my best person. by @geminina1
