I don’t even care that I look goofy as hell, look in those EYEBALLS by @genderban

Maybe this isn’t post worthy but I don’t care! When I first started Bunny on public access training about 8 months ago, her settling capabilities were just… not there. I overestimated her maturity and made a handler error bringing her to a restaurant as one of our first stops. She was NOT ready, and I left after 5 minutes of me trying to reassure her and her not wanting to stay in a down. Since then we’ve both worked really hard on getting her to find that off switch when we’re in public and she wants to be on, on, on. Especially helpful was training at @ziggiespizza , where we could just wait for our pizza for 10 minutes and then go if she was having a hard time. I probably ate 25 pizzas working on this skill (hardly a sacrifice on my part). Fast forward 7 months, and she hits 13 months old. I decided we were ready to try full restaurants again. In the last month we have eaten 6 full-length dinners at 4 different restaurants, some of them very busy. I couldn’t be more proud of the growth she’s had. She can finally fully relax in restaurants without any. Here she is sleeping under the table at Chili’s yesterday. That’s my princess!! She’s really growing up and I’m so proud of her.
