🗳️ Community Members, Your Vote Matters!

We put together this guide to make voting a little easier to understand and help you feel prepared before heading to the polls!

This year, Philadelphia voters will decide on two important ballot questions: one about expanding contracting opportunities for small and local businesses and another about making Creative Philadelphia, the City’s arts and culture office, a permanent part of city government.

📋 Want to research before you vote? View your sample ballot at https://atlas.phila.gov/voting to see what’s on your ballot and learn more about the decisions you’ll be making.

If you’re 18 or older and registered to vote, make your voice heard on Tuesday, November 3! If you have questions or need assistance, email us at contact.gentlegratitude@gmail.com Every vote helps shape the future of our families and communities.

Going home for Homecoming and giving back to the place that helped shape the woman I am today. 🐾✨❤️

There’s something special about returning to your HBCU, not just to celebrate the memories, but to pour back into the community that helped pour into you. ❤️

Last year, a couple of Clark Atlanta University students reached out to us for support with feminine hygiene products. Those conversations were a reminder that even on a college campus, something as basic as access to period products and everyday hygiene essentials can be a challenge. It made our mission even clearer: our college students deserve access to the resources they need to show up, feel confident, and thrive.

So, this Homecoming, we decided to do something about it! 🫶🏽

Together, Tanaja, Kadizjah, and I created the College Care Collective for this special initiative at CAU. In partnership with @bereangwinnett , we placed baskets of feminine hygiene and personal care products throughout campus dorms and bathrooms to support the university’s freshman students.

🧺 What's inside? Pads, tampons, lotion, toothpaste, toothbrushes, chapstick, deodorant, and feminine care kits!

A heartfelt THANK YOU to everyone who donated and helped make this possible. Every contribution helped us put essential products directly into the hands of students who may need them. ❤️

While we're grateful to have been able to provide these products this time, our hope is to make this more than a one-time initiative. We want to work toward providing consistent access to feminine hygiene and personal care products for CAU students because basic necessities shouldn't be a barrier to the college experience.

🐾 PANTHERS, WE'RE HERE FOR YOU! 🐾

🏈 Community is about more than meeting needs. It’s also about creating experiences, making memories, and bringing people together!

Gentle Gratitude had the opportunity to bring 19 community members to the UPenn vs. Howard football game for a day of fun, connection, and school spirit! ❤️💙🤍

A huge THANK YOU to Young Chances Foundation @youngchancesfoundation for providing us with the tickets and making this experience possible. We’re grateful for the opportunity to share moments like these with our community, and we hope everyone who joined us enjoyed the game!

We believe supporting our community also means creating opportunities for people to get out, connect with others, experience something new, and simply enjoy themselves.

We look forward to hosting more community outings and engagement days! If you’re an organization, business, or individual interested in partnering with us through donated tickets, experiences, or other opportunities for our community, we’d love to connect. 🤝🏽 by @gentlegratitudephilly
