Stop hitting this awkward shot! Tips: 1. When you are at the right side of the court, and a drop goes to your body. Lean more forehand rather than backhand. Especially if you have a better forehand. 2. When you’re reaching but you realized you can’t reach it. Instead of “stepping or shuffling” think of the next move as a “shuffle hop” so that you can quickly get into your position and make SPACE” 3. When opponent is really threatening and you are hitting from below, you can concede cross court. 4. When you are moving “fast” make sure your swing is controlled or slow. To avoid any pop ups or sudden tension in your swing path. 5. Always read the drive first and then read the drop. It’s better to be ready for the faster ball. PS: Not every tip has to be followed, it is more of a general rule. MORE THAN JUST PINK. 🩷🎀 As the @fridaypickleball Aura Pro Elongated Metallic Pink Prism arrives in the Philippines, we’re carrying forward the spirit behind its original release by Friday Pickleball × @dinklab.my co-founder Jacelyne, using something we love to help give back. For every Pink Prism paddle sold through Gentle Pickle, ₱400 will be set aside: 🎀 ₱200 to Breast Cancer Awareness Foundation Inc. (BCAFI) 🩷 ₱200 to Moreille Tatel, President of the Negros Island Region Pickleball Association, who has given so much to growing pickleball in our community who is currently going through her own breast cancer journey This cause has become especially close to home for us, and we hope this can be one small way for our pickleball community to come together and support those affected by breast cancer. More than a paddle. More than just pink. 🩷 Available now in limited quantities.
