What’s so good about The Gathering Sounds? 🤔

We were over at @thegeorgiantheatre_stockton recently to catch TGS26 acts @georgebaileyband and @honeylightband and to ask the good people there what they love about the festival and what’s got them looking forward to this years lineup 🎸

There was lot of love for Tom A. Smith who you can catch alongside George Bailey, Honeylight and a ton of other acts across 7 stages this weekend 🙌

We're excited to launch the first of a regular series of exchange gigs between @tees.musicalliance and our good friends at @beaconscymru

We'll be hosting Swansea's very own @soldforpartsband on September 4th - playing alongside local favourites @georgebaileyband and @honeylightband - George will then make the trip to Cardiff for the return leg on September 10th.

It's an important part of any artist's development to get out and about on the road to experience different venues in different towns and cities. We're delighted to be working with Beacons Cymru to establish this touring route.

Both organisations are proud members of the @prsfoundation Talent Development Network - and these gigs will be a demonstration of the value of the network in bringing organisations together.

Ni'n hapus i fod yn lansio’r gyntaf mewn cyfres reolaidd o gigs cyfnewid ar y cyd rhwng Tees Music Alliance a’n ffrindiau yn Beacons Cymru.

Ar 4 Medi, byddwn ni'n croesawu'r band o Abertawe, Sold For Parts, bydd yn chwarae gyda George Bailey a Honeylight. Yna, bydd George yn teithio draw i Gaerdydd ar gyfer yr ail ran ar 10 Medi.

Mae cael cyfle i fynd allan, chwarae mewn lleoliadau gwahanol, mewn trefi a dinasoedd newydd yn rhan bwysig o ddatblygiad unrhyw artist. Ni'n falch iawn i fod yn gweithio gyda Beacons Cymru i sefydlu’r llwybr teithiol yma.

Mae’r ddau sefydliad yn falch o fod yn aelodau o'r PRS Foundation – a bydd y gigs yma’n dangos gwerth y rhwydwaith o ran dod â sefydliadau at ei gilydd a chreu cyfleoedd newydd i artistiaid. by @thegatheringsounds
