YOUR ARCHIVES MATTER 🐺

Hidden inside your families attics and closets are valued treasures. Memories and moments that were frozen, captured on film. These memories are accessible again by digitising or printing. This method gets your old memories into the now. It also protects the films from damage and mould. As we first clean and then scan your film to crisp 4k resolution.

I believe that there is no better gift than the access to the past.

So stop waiting around and bring me your archives. I will book a call with you to discuss what it is you want and we will make sure your treasures will remain kept and accessible for ever ! by @get.outofmysun

Boudewijn

A spotless king with a couple (giant) smudges on his name. From his involvement in the killing of Lumumba to what happened in 1990. Belgium was shook by a scenario they had never seen before. A king they had to dethrone for a day. All to give basic reproductive rights to woman. His motives were always vague “I couldn’t get it over my heart” was all he said. Later his wife Fabiola revealed she had five miscarriages. This is ofcourse awful but one of my students argued that a king should be selfless. Go to the second slide so you can hear her reasonings behind this image.

Leopold III

History was hard for this young king. After losing his wife in 1935 the nazi’s are knocking on the door on the 28th of may 1940. He decides to capitulate and stop fighting to great divide among the people. One of my students had something to say about this. Go to the second slide so you can hear his reasonings behind this image.

Leopold I

I am glad to finally share the selection of my graduation project Kroning. We start at the beginning, Leopold the first.

After discussing him in class one of my students found his letters online and discovered something: a greed, a longing for more power. It incentivised him to think of what could have been. In the second slide you can hear his reasonings behind this image. It is in these alternative histories that my students get to control narratives that have excluded them historically.

NOWSHOW ‘26

@st_joost

Here is a sneak peak of my graduation expo. Documentary images will follow. I am overwhelmed by the reactions to my work. Stories that came up of people who have met these kings or share my frustration. It was a wonderful experience that I (and my students) will never forget. Thank you all so much for a listening ear and curious mind.

Special thanks to:

With your support, this project can become a reality.

OVERSTEKEN IN STILTE / GROUPSHOW
VERNISSAGE ZATERDAG 15.11

PORCELAIN (2025)

We traded the foyer for the theater. This was the big stage. Reprise and Bibi were held up in a big blazer. Sung chest out, serenading the short haired girl. by @get.outofmysun

A Friday night @deromavzw. It was a special one, @porcelain_id faced the spotlight and brought the music. A naked selection strummed, fragile and brazen.

None other than @sylviekreusch followed. Giving an ethereal performance with such glittering energy. A magical ride through pop city dreamscapes.

I felt lucky to be able to document such a wonderful night. Thanks to all who made it possible ! by @get.outofmysun
