CHAPTER 02 — THE CITY TOUR

“Alimo2025 — The Unseen Chapters” took us deep into Nigeria’s rich tapestry, where every destination revealed a story of its own.

From the historic halls of the Shehu Musa Yar’Adua Centre, where we journeyed through the pages of Nigeria’s history, to the serene beauty of Usman Dam, the day became more than a tour — it became an experience in heritage, culture, and discovery.

We explored the sights, shared laughter, embraced new experiences, and discovered the artistry behind handcrafted pottery — each piece carrying its own story, shaped by time and tradition.

And somewhere between the history we uncovered and the memories we created, we were reminded of something beautiful:

Love stories, too, are built on layers — shaped by the past, enriched by the present, and made unforgettable by the moments we choose to share.

This was more than a city tour.
This was another unseen chapter.

Some service is on the job description. Some are not.

The extra mile is the staff member who walks a guest to the door instead of pointing the way. It’s the late-night request met with a smile, the detail remembered from a previous stay, and the problem solved before anyone had to ask.

This Customer Service Week, our theme is The Extra Mile, and our Gidanka team lives it daily. 🤍

To everyone who goes beyond “good enough” so that every guest feels at home: thank you. We see you. We celebrate you.

Which Gidanka team member went the extra mile for you? Tell us below 👇🏾
