What is Ghost Melon?
We are Chicago Artists from historically marginalized groups. We reject the idea that artists must compete with each other. Our vision: cooperate with and uplift each other, because we are stronger together. Together, we help our individual communities shine more brightly. We run our own businesses, share the cost of festival space, and help each other learn and grow. We share resources, connections, and knowledge. We prioritize avoiding burnout. If we are burned out, we can’t shine! We’re making our debut at the Glenwood Ave Arts Fest, and we’re just getting started. Join us for the ride! taken in Rogers Park, Chicago, Illinois by @theizaster
