Designing training kits for a basketball agency in New York was one of the most fulfilling projects I’ve ever done, not just because of the work itself but because of what it took to get there. At the time, I was working full-time as a creative director for a supplements company, designing for two other brands on the side, and going through a long, draining divorce that played out in court for almost two years. I was stretched entirely creatively, emotionally, and mentally, but I still showed up for the work and myself. It wasn’t easy. I was rebuilding my confidence, unlearning that I had to shrink myself to be accepted, and learning how to take up space again, in life, in rooms, in my own skin. What made the difference was the people who saw me when I couldn’t fully see myself. My business partner reminded me I could do it. And my therapist, Juan, who passed away not long after, held me through the most complex parts. I carry his voice with me every day. This project reminded me that I could create something powerful even in chaos. That I could trust my vision. And now, I’m building something of my own, a brand rooted in everything I’ve lived, learned, and fought for. #creativeprocess #womeninbusiness #latinabusinessowner #basketball #behindthescenes by @gigi.rituals

You don’t need a new life,
you need small rituals that feel like you ✨ Portugal was my reset 🇵🇹 for 3 months, I committed to moving my body every day
BJJ, bike rides by the ocean, slow moments in between not always with motivation
but with intention because there’s so much noise in the world
and taking care of my mind became a priority So wherever I go,
I find what grounds me
a boxing or martial arts gym
a Latino community
small things that feel like home Sport, for me, is more than exercise;
it’s a connection, growth, and endorphins
that bring me back to myself And these small rituals
are what make life feel softer,
more present
more beautiful You don’t have to do everything
just start with one thing that feels good and come back to it What’s one ritual that grounds you? 🤍 by @gigi.rituals

Morning rituals that feel sacred 💫 These are the kinds of mornings I return to when I step away from the city… on slow weekends, on holiday, when life isn’t rushing me. Sitting in the garden, feeling the sun, soft music in the background, nothing to chase, nowhere to be. Preparing a breakfast I actually enjoy. Taking my time with it. Noticing the scent of lavender, the stillness, the quiet, everything I usually miss when life is busy. These moments might feel small, but they bring me back to myself. They soften my nervous system. They remind me how it feels to just be. You don’t need to do this every day. But when you have the time… give it to yourself. Create little rituals. Even if it’s just for a morning. 🌿 Save this for your next slow weekend 🤍 by @gigi.rituals
