Some sketches by @lousmer (full size puppet and creature suit creator for @gilded.splinter)

So excited to bring a practical giant ox head to life for this film as well as tons of other puppets. We accused ourselves of going full zazoo. But these characters don’t talk and there’s no magic element to this movie…. They depict real animals….

A little horror, a little camp, a whole lotta of Vamp. 🦇✨

Join us Sunday, May 17 from 1–3 PM at @nietzschesbuffalo for a free screening of Shadow of the Vampire as part of the @Gilded.Splinter Movie Matinee series.

This eerie, darkly funny cult favorite imagines the making of Nosferatu with one haunting twist: what if actor Max Schreck really was a vampire? 🧛🏻‍♂️❤️‍🔥

Free admission. Donations gratefully accepted to support the Buffalo indie film Gilded Splinter.
