Yesterday, @_jessica_sofia_ and I said goodbye to one of the sweetest, goofiest and handsomest boy. Gus showed up on my doorstep injured so i brought him in to protect him. We only had a little over a year together before cancer started to take over your body. You were only 3 years old and had so much more life to live. We will miss you so much and never understand why. by @_jessica_sofia_

Today was the day I had to say goodbye to the sweetest most caring dog I have ever had in my life. She had such a calming presence. She had such a big happy smile that will stick with me for the rest of my life. I’m going to miss her so much. Life will truly not be the same without you here. To say I’m lucky would be a complete understatement. @_jessica_sofia_ is the most selfless person I know. Today during her day off she drove an hour to help Gracie get groomed and while she waited she cleaned the kitchen and it is spotless. 8/29/24, Bug, Ladybug, Bug A Boo and I sat out in the sunroom at my parent’s house, her favorite place to sleep. I held her in my arms as we enjoyed the peaceful sounds of the morning. She was sick and I knew there wasn’t much time left and I had to spend it with her. I snuggled her as she closed her eyes and fell asleep. She was always looking for a lap to lay on and snuggle. It’s hard losing another part of my family but I know she’s back home with my parents. by @_jessica_sofia_

In the 10 months we’ve been dating it has been a whirlwind of events. From the loss of my mother, the loss of pets and new jobs for both of us you have been nothing but perfect. You’ve been there for me countless times when I just wanted to give up. You have helped me in so many ways that words cannot express my appreciation of you. Thank you Jessica Sofia for everything you’ve done for me, I only hope I can do the same for you when the time comes.

Today at 12:02am you took your final breath. You are no longer suffering and no longer in pain. I can only imagine the welcoming crew that was waiting for you to arrive. I know dad was there with all of the four legged family members from over the years.

I’m going to miss you more than words can describe. Everyone who met you is going to miss you tremendously. I didn’t tell you enough that I loved you and appreciated everything you’ve ever done for me. by @_jessica_sofia_

Today was the day your tail stopped wagging for the first time since we adopted you seven years ago. You’ve been a big brother, a little brother, and a mentor to so many dogs that have come and gone in our family. You’ve made so many of us happy, and words don’t do justice to how special you really were. Life will be so empty without your tail wagging, big smile, and sloppy kisses. I know Murph was up there waiting for you with a ball in his mouth and his tail wagging. I will be sure to give your sister extra love; she will miss you the most.
