still the same, but only entirely different โ›ฒ๏ธ๐Ÿฆข by @ginajarisa
I just realised I never posted the whole journey of rebuilding my mx5. Never in a 1000 years, I imagined her to become like this. Itโ€™s truly everything I wanted to do to the car (for now). (Send money for a turbo and better suspension, pls) This is what we were working with; just a simple, boring mx5 nbfl โ€˜01. Cleaning up the engine bay + the rest of the car. After this, we took the engine out to renew stuff. In the search of rust. Trust me, there was A LOT. Nothing we cannot fix though! I adored doing the welding bits. :) Rebuilding the engine. First start after putting the engine in again. The RE-GT bodykit came in! The fitment was absolute ASS. Another part I really enjoyed doing: all the sanding. Naked cor. Shoutout to @deathworkss for his amazing primer work! Off to the painter! Midnight purple it is. The colour is practically porn and looks SO good. Best part of any project: building it all back together :) Took her for a road trip with my friends. (Also, new spoiler!) The oil consumption suddenly went CRAZY. Iโ€™m talking about 1 litre of 10w40 per 50km driveโ€ฆ. Took apart the engine once again to fix it all. Sheโ€™s better than ever. I love her. I could not have done all of this without the help of my amazing team of friends. The help I received really warms my heart. I love you all to bits and from the bottom of my heart; thank you. โค๏ธ @deathworkss @dx1.k11 @jervisboele @annika.woudstra @xx_chann & Maarten by @ginajarisa
