Grateful for you, grateful for Finland in the summer, grateful for the difficult things, grateful for my dad picking up running, grateful for an adventurous life in Barcelona and beyond, grateful for all the amazing people around me 🌟 by @gio_dalmas

Amazed and grateful for the adventures I keep finding myself into 🌅
For the incredible people I get to share the journey with and for this body that can do it all

A weekend in Portugal is always a good plan 🥔🥫🇵🇹
Especially if the menu is a 80km relay in the forest with such a cool bunch of ppl 🪩

Obrigado @mariacarolpinheiro and @brunoduartelopes and to all the amazing new friends in Porto for organizing this epic race and to @binbinsha0 for the incredible shots 📸#NoNameNoTour #NoSoup by @gio_dalmas

Around km 36 I ask myself, while limping with cramps, why did I choose to suffer so much again?

At km40 seeing @gravity_run and @pcrunningteam , and in my head all the dear people that have been cheering me along the course, almost bursting into tears, I start to understand
These are the type of emotions you can only feel when you bring your body and mind to the limit, and still decide to keep going regardless

Then when the finish line is in sight, it all starts to make sense once again.
The last turn and the Arc opens up to let you pass and soak into the greatness of what you are capable of, lifted by all the people with you along the way.

Months of kms, just to run those last 100m, and it's always worth it.

Thank you @giofromthestone and @fabiofrangione for the precious moments you captured ❤️

Jean Bouin 5k 16:33 (3:18/km)
Gio of 2 years ago wouldn't believe it was possible to run for a prolonged time below 4:10/km, and it would feel its heart pumping out of his chest trying to follow @martiplahe.gpx during our first runs.
Gio of today knows this is only the beginning.

I can't even express how much running already gave me in just 2 years... in terms of discipline, fitness, emotions. In terms of how many extraordinary people it brought to my life in the most unexpected ways, but always linked to putting this amazing body we have in motion by @gio_dalmas

How grateful to call two places home and feeling like I'm never leaving, but always coming back by @gio_dalmas
