Praetor Sports is proud to announce that Gianni Thompson @githompson_ has signed his first professional contract with Achilleas Kaimakliou in Cyprus. 🇨🇾

The 6’7” forward from Massachusetts begins his professional career with an impressive basketball pedigree, having competed at Boston College, UMass, Canisius, and Post University throughout his collegiate journey.

2025/26 Season | Post University
• 6.5 PPG
• 3.9 RPG
• 43.4% FG
• 38.8% 3PT

Before college, Gianni established himself as one of the top prospects in New England. A former four-star recruit and the top-rated player in Massachusetts, he earned All-NEPSAC honors while starring at Brimmer and May.

His combination of size, shooting ability, versatility, and experience at multiple levels of college basketball gives Achilleas another talented weapon for the upcoming season.

Gianni will join fellow Praetor Sports clients Ryan Forrest and Braxton Bayless at Achilleas, giving us three represented players together in Cyprus this season. 🇨🇾🤝

Congratulations to Gianni and the entire Achilleas organization on this new chapter. We look forward to watching him begin his professional career.
