Why was the jack-o’-lantern so afraid to cross the road?

Because it had no guts! 🎃 by @gknudsen

90 more years still wouldn’t have been enough time.

I’m unbelievably aware of how fortunate I am to have the family I have. It’s the kind of family everyone wishes for, and somehow, I got lucky enough to have it. I never take that for granted. But it sure does make a loss like this feel insurmountable.

So my Tom and Jerry-watching, treehouse making, chasing me around the table singing silly songs, vanilla ice cream loving couch buddy is just... gone? I don’t think I’ll ever quite understand that.

As my dad said, “No regrets.” And there really aren’t any. We love hard. We show up. We spend the time. We live this life so well together.

I just wish we could’ve had more of it.

I love you, Farfar. 🤍 by @gknudsen

I remember my cheeks physically hurting from smiling all weekend. 🥹

When I look back at our wedding, FUN is the first word that comes to mind. Followed by about a million others trying to describe just how magical, joyful, and completely unforgettable that weekend was.

And somehow… that was FIVE YEARS AGO?! 🤍

How does time move so fast and so slow at the exact same time? I’ll never understand.

These photos from @storiesbyvictoria_ are such a gift. I love getting to look back and relive the weekend @joshstrunkrealtor and I tied the knot, surrounded by so many of the people we love most.

5 years married. 14 years together. And somehow, it still feels like we’re just getting started.

I’m forever grateful for this life we’ve built, for the people we get to share it with, for every version of us that got us here, and for every moment still waiting for us on the other side of this milestone.

Five years down. A lifetime to go.

Happy anniversary to us. 🥂 by @gknudsen

** CUE THE SQUEALING ** 😍😍😍

My sweet little cafe @thebloomingbrewcafe was featured as an Editor’s Pick in @akronlifemag for their September issue! Thank you Akron Life Magazine for including us and sharing everything we have to offer with the greater Akron community! This was such a fun experience and to see it in real life, TO HOLD THIS MAGAZINE, felt so super cool. 🥹

I love my little cafe, our beautiful food and drinks, and every single person who works behind the counter to create such a wonderful experience for everyone who comes in.

I love our partnership with @access_shelter and how we donate 10% of our Wednesday revenue to their cause.

I love getting to collaborate and use products from other local small businesses like @leaf_homeandblooms, @sagelanesyrups, and @akronhoney.

I love getting to meet all the new people who come in and learn about their lives!

My heart is full today. 🤍🌼 by @gknudsen

What a gift it is to love someone long enough to celebrate 90 years. And what a gift it is to have spent my life being loved by him.

This is the guy I got to play hooky from school with and watch Tom and Jerry because “I was sick.” The guy who built my sister and me a treehouse in his backyard. The guy who showed up to my soccer, field hockey, and lacrosse games. The guy who, every single time I hugged him goodbye, would whisper “I’m proud of you” in my ear.

And maybe that’s one of the greatest lessons he’s taught me in 90 years of life: show up for the people you love, and never miss an opportunity to make sure they know just how much they mean to you.

Today we celebrate 90 years of a life so worth celebrating. 🤍

This isn’t necessarily where we imagined we’d be celebrating another birthday, spending another year together in a rehab facility after an injury, but if there’s one thing life continues to teach us, it’s that the where matters so much less than the who.

Today, we are simply incredibly thankful. Thankful for 90 years of Farfar and the small moments that somehow become the really big ones. Thankful for another birthday, another year, another celebration, and another chance to do life together.

Happy 90th Birthday, Farfar. We love you more than words could ever say. 🤍

P.s. The way he is looking at my Farmor in the last photo is how he has looked at her his whole life. Their love is my favorite. by @gknudsen

Kaetlin and Jeff: “Would you travel to Italy for our wedding?”

Us: “Most definitely.”

This was one of the easiest “yeses” I’ve ever said! Traveling to Italy to celebrate the love of two people we love very much was unbelievably special.

Getting to spend a little extra time there with our girl after wedding festivities was icing on the cake. 🤍 by @gknudsen

And then she was 3… 🥹 🎨

Her favorite foods are strawberries, puffs, butter pasta and ice cream. She loves the shows Miraculous Lady Bug, Scooby Doo, and Magic School Bus. She is creative, funny, kind, mega smart and just the greatest little human all around. She loves to swim, dance, sing, play outside, color and PAINT (obviously)! She says “sunscreen” like “scum-scream” and it’s the cutest thing in the world. She is everything we never knew we needed and we are so lucky to get to be her mommy and daddy.

Thank you for capturing every milestone @angella_james_photography 📸 by @gknudsen

Rogue Awakening turns 6 today!! 🥳🖤🤍

The last six years have been the most difficult, yet most rewarding six years of my life. I have the best team, we have the best members, and I am honestly overwhelmed sometimes to know there are people out there who believe in me and this mission I’m on to make fitness spaces safe, intentional, and fun just as much as I do.

If you’re on my team, thank you.
If you are now or have ever been a member, thank you.
If you’re my family, thank you.
If you’re my friend, near or far, and have followed me along on this journey, thank you.

If I could go back and do it all over again, I would. by @gknudsen

Later in life, when Teagan is asked “what was your mom like?” I hope she says “fun, kind, goofy, patient, and she couldn’t help but give me a million kisses everyday!” And when she does, I’ll smile knowing exactly where I learned how to be a mom.

Forever thankful this little human chose me to be her mommy. Forever thankful to get to call @jlknudsen my mom 🤍

Happy Mother’s Day to every type of mom out there. by @gknudsen

I’m so proud of this event space my family and I created. I’ve always felt there was a gap in the industry for beautiful, intimate venues. Spaces designed for gatherings that are meaningful, personal, and under 50 guests. That’s exactly why we built @byinvitationvenue 🤍

Every detail in this space was intentionally designed to make hosting effortless and to help you create a moment your guests will remember.

Baby showers, bridal showers, birthdays, celebrations of life, graduations, book clubs, photoshoots, corporate meetings… truly any occasion that deserves care and connection. We would love to bring your vision to life.

If you’re planning something special (or know someone who is), please reach out or share this with them! by @gknudsen

Christmas minis 11/15 and 11/22! 📸

I’m not one to celebrate Christmas before Thanksgiving, but the snow and these photos by @angella_james_photography have me feeling some type of way 😍

She still has a few spots left for Christmas minis for this weekend and next weekend!

Angie, thanks for always capturing these special moments and milestones with our family. I’m very thankful for you! by @gknudsen
