We have some happy news to share! Our Vakinn certification has been renewed, and we couldn’t be prouder! 🌿

Vakinn is Iceland’s official quality and environmental certification for tourism, and it’s something that means a lot to us.

It’s about doing things the right way, taking good care of our guests, keeping safety a priority, and looking after the beautiful Icelandic nature we’re lucky enough to call home 🏔️❄️🇮🇸

A perfect mirror reflection at Vestrahorn on a private tour a few days ago. It’s one of our favorite locations in our area, and mornings like this are why. That's our guest standing in the reflection, and this drone clip is one of the shots he took home, along with the professionally edited photos we captured at the same spot. We spent an hour there working every angle. Worth waking up at 6 AM for? We think so! 👌🏼

Alongside our multi-day workshops around Iceland, you can also book private trips with @h0rdur from our base in Southeast Iceland:

Private tour:
A private day showing you the best locations in Southeast Iceland, from glaciers and black beaches to mountains like this one. Hörður photographs you along the way on the Hasselblad and drone, and you go home with professionally edited photos & videos of yourself (like this video) ✅

Private photography workshop:
Bring your own camera or drone and learn to shoot conditions like these yourself. One day, two days, or longer, fully customized around what you want to shoot 📸

Interested? Send us a DM, and we’ll plan it together 🇮🇸🙏🏼 by @glacieradventure
