So, obviously, this is a tremendous loss for the world. Not just the world of performance and art, but a real loss for grace, empathy and courage. Everything I’ve heard about Sir Patrick Stewart has been amazing.
Personally Sir Patrick Stewart has been important to me. Many people know I had a complicated father and an even more complicated relationship with him. It was more intense, in some ways, for my late brother.
35 years ago, when we were so young, my father took me and my brother to see Sir Patrick Stewart performing A Christmas Carol on Broadway as a one man show. The show was, of course, incredible. It’s one of the few happy memories I have that involved the 3 of us.
They’re all gone now. Memory can keep them alive for me in some way. This one, with Sir Stewart, keeps me warm too. by @glassz

Fantastic @catedralmezcal tasting at the gorgeous @willoughbyastoria last week! #mezcal #catedralmezcal #cocktailsbar #queenscocktails by @glassz

Super fun late night watching the Knicks’ Crazy win with my amazing God sister Abigail. Then home to walk this silly pup on a beautiful warm night on the Brooklyn waterfront. It’s been a while; it’s nice to feel the summer coming. Go New York. #cosmodog #gonewyork #dogsofinstagram by @glassz

A few weeks ago I promoted to Shodan at @karatenyc under @shihanmichelle
No one gets a black belt by themselves.
I never would have imagined I would become a black belt in karate and there is no way I could have done it without the support and guidance of so many amazing teachers, and the camaraderie of the Ken Wa Kan community.
Physically it was the hardest 3.5hrs I’ve experienced. Mentally not far off.
So much thanks and love to my brothers and sisters in the dojo. So much honor and respect to my Shihan, senseis and senpais.

10 years. Still impossible. Still miss and need you everyday. No more words this year. #jeremiahminhgrüenblatt #brothers by @glassz

So somehow that is it. We are all out of the space and won’t be going back in again. I’m still working on wrapping my head around the words for a mega post with nostalgic pictures trying to encapsulate the last 12 years. For now, let me just say that this man here, @keithham , is one of the most special people I’ve ever had the honor of knowing. This is someone who I know would go to war for me and I would go to war for him any day of the week. The fact that we made it 12 years through this crazy @ourwickedlady adventure and can still call each other friends is one of the things I’m the most proud of.
He has become my brother.
Thank you, Keith, for everything.

Amazing gift tonight to see @yeahyeahyeahs perform at @beacontheatre with @renglasstattoo and @asmg2012 and Nick.
So beautiful! #shows #yeahyeahyeahs by @glassz

I will have so much more to say
We closed it like we did it - a little reckless and full of love. It is crazy to see think that it’s over… but it’s crazier to realize the impact, the love, the connections and to know THAT will never be over.
I love you all.
Talk soon.
Take it easy, but take it.

Home a 6am. Last night of shows at @ourwickedlady
I really don’t have the words. So many people. So much love. An absolutely atomic set from @themysterylights after hours of flight delays. Our whole word there with us to finish this 10 year adventure… I am a person who talks a lot… I don’t have the language to express what I feel for this place, these people, this moment.
We did a thing @keithham We did a thing.
Cosmo says thanks. #ourwickedlady #barlife #cosmodog #dogsofinstagram I by @glassz

Haven’t done one of these in a while. Incredible night at @ourwickedlady as we count down towards the end of this era. So many amazing friends and regulars and bands, coming through to perform and show us love. I told Cosmo all about it. #goodnightOWL #ourwickedlady #endofanera #cosmodog #dogsofinstagram #barlife by @glassz
