Scrolling Landscape: The view from Katla caves at the edge of the glacier, looking back at the Hafursey. I can't tell if one should admire how the edge of glaciers merge into the landscape beyond or be worried that the glaciers are now receding faster than anticipated.
Personally, i was lost in the layers of ice and its contrast against volcanic ash black and mossy green beyond! Also, i felt small surrounded by these mammoth natural elements crashing into each other!

Scrolling Landscape: The Vestrahorn mountains are a sight to behold! They are special not because of their formation but the shadow ocean waters infront of them, which can be no more than an inch or two on a regular day. The black sand of the beach is what makes it so magical as it helps add the perfect reflection of the mountains on the water surface.

See it in person to believe it - no AI tricks needed for this puppy!!

Scrolling Landscape of Machu Pichhu!!

Machu Pichhu, one of the Wonders of the World, is nestled in the Andes mountain range of Peru. What makes it stand out is how much this ancient city was isolated from the rest of the world - still is!

The layers of steep cliffs sprayed around the city provide you with a photograph vista no matter which side you turn! It is, and will be the most favorite destination that I've ever been to.

Autumn is peaking! 🍁🍂🔥

When nature turns up the colors and the setting sun adds its own magic. Sometimes, all you need to do is stop, look up, and soak it all in!

Little Island, NYC!!

One of the most fascinating places to visit in NYC!

Designed by Heatherwick Studio, Little Island reimagined the historic Hudson River piers with 132 sculptural concrete tulips supporting an organic, undulating landscape above the water — without reclaiming additional land.

As impressive as it could be during the day (I've only seen that in pictures), nighttime brought out an entirely different character. The illuminated sculptural forms stood beautifully against the backdrop of Manhattan's world-famous skyline.

A wonderful blend of architecture, engineering, and landscape. Definitely worth a visit, whether you're a New Yorker or just passing through!

The High Line, NYC!

The joy of exploring a city lies not in the destination, but in the discoveries along the way.

Walking the High Line was one such experience. Once an elevated railway, now a vibrant pedestrian-only urban oasis where architecture, nature, and everyday life intersect.

Every little node offered something different — a quiet bench, an unexpected view, a place to gather, or simply a moment to pause.

What fascinated me most was how New Yorkers have embraced this space, finding their own ways to interact, connect, and unwind above the bustling streets.

As an architect, it reinforced a simple thought: The success of a public space isn't just in how it's designed, but in how people make it their own.

Sometimes the best architectural discoveries are unplanned.

While walking along NYC's High Line, I happened to come across this fascinating building. Its sweeping curves and interwoven metallic bands immediately caught my attention. Curiosity led me to do a little research, and I discovered it was 520 West 28th Street, designed by Zaha Hadid Architects (completed by 2018).

What makes this building remarkable is how its fluid geometry challenges the conventional language of residential architecture. Its sculptural form seems to shift and move with every change in perspective, revealing new relationships between form, light, and shadow.

As an architect, I find something particularly inspiring about buildings that make you stop, look again, and want to learn more.

Designed by Thomas Heatherwick, The Vessel has become one of Hudson Yards’ (and New York's) most recognizable landmarks—a bold expression of geometry, movement, and human interaction.

Its interwoven staircases, reflective copper surfaces, and sculptural form bring a sense of identity to one of New York City's most ambitious urban transformations.

The Architect's core structural inspiration came from the ancient stepwells of Rajasthan, India

What fascinated me the most was how creativity turned something as ordinary as a staircase into an extraordinary architectural experience!

NYC — where every building has its own identity, yet together they shape a skyline full of character.

Different forms, textures, and expressions. One unmistakable city.

Geometry in Portrait!

Lines rise. Patterns repeat. Light dances across glass and steel. Looking upward, architecture reveals its rhythm — where structure, shadow, and space become poetry.

One building. Two personalities.

By day, it reflects the city.
By night, it becomes part of the city's glow.
