Everyday glimpses of people, cultures & streetlife
🇦🇷 Buenos Aires → 🇳🇬 Abuja

POSTS STORIES REELS

I’m very happy that my series “Buenos Aires, All at Once” has been selected for the 10th Abuja Photo Festival 2026.

Buenos Aires unfolds through reflections.

Inside and outside, light and shadow, buildings, surfaces and people - even myself - meet and appear in places where they never were.

Countless moments of urban life come together in a single frame.
Buenos Aires no longer tells a single story, but all at once. 🇦🇷

Each image is made in a single exposure.
A reminder of what photography can create.

My series “Buenos Aires, All at Once” invite us to reflect on stories, perception and photographic authenticity.

I’m very much looking forward to being part of the festival and sharing this work here in Abuja. 🇳🇬

Thank you, @abujaphotofest, for selecting my work.

I attended the ongoing Abuja International Photo Festival (AIPF26), a gathering of photographers and visual storytellers from around the world.

It was good to see friends, alongside many other photographers bringing their perspectives, experiences and creative practices to Abuja.

Photography has a way of connecting people across borders and cultures. We may come from different places and tell different stories, but there is always something to learn from how others see the world. 📸🇳🇬

Buenos Aires doesn't just appear. It reflects. Layers of light, taxis, faces, and fleeting moments colliding in one frame. It's chaos turned intentional, and noise turned into narrative. A city that never stands still, captured in a thousand reflections. This is what happens when a creator doesn't just take a photo but sees a world within it.

Rainy day in Abuja 🌧️🇳🇬

But even rainy days here are full of colour. Especially the little kekes speeding through the streets in their sunny yellow, somehow making every rainy day a little brighter. 💛

The rainy season will be over soon - so let’s enjoy this one while it lasts. 🌧️✨

Some impressions from the opening of REFLECTIONS & FLEXIONS on Saturday evening. ✨

Thank you to everyone who came by, shared the evening with us, and made the opening special.
It was wonderful to see so many familiar and new faces.

The exhibition is still on at Kolanut Gallery until 29 September, open daily from 9 AM to 9 PM.

Kolanut Gallery is pleased to present “Reflections and Flections”, a group exhibition bringing together three distinct visual voices: photographer @globallifelens Katharina Sasse and painters @bali_audu Bali Audu and @akachukwuemeka Akachukwu Chukwuemeka. Though working across different mediums, the three artists are united by an exploratory approach — each pushing beyond familiar technique to interrogate form, memory, and perception in their own way.

“Reflections and Flections” invites viewers into this shared spirit of inquiry, where the camera’s frame and the painter’s brush become tools of discovery as much as expression.
