We are thrilled to announce we are teaming up with @gloucesterculturetrust for a free evening of creative decision making - come meet, chat, eat some soup and vote for who you think should receive funding to put on events in Kings Square this Summer.

Gloucester Soup is a grassroots social impact initiative that brings people together over a simple bowl of soup to share ideas, stories, and projects that help strengthen our city. Every soup is handmade by volunteers in Gloucester using fresh, locally grown or sourced ingredients.

Wednesday 11th March 6-8pm at St Luke’s, Stroud Road, Gloucester, GL1 5JR. Free and open to anyone but please book your place - link in bio!

Good news for Gloucester – we’ve secured £220K in government funding to help more of you access healthy, affordable food.

It’s part of the new Good Food Neighbourhoods programme, where 45 local authorities are receiving a share of £10M.

Here in Gloucester, funding will build on the work of Nourishing Gloucester – the city’s partnership food strategy.

Together, we want to tackle the reasons why people struggle to afford healthy food and help residents get support before they face a crisis

We’ve a strong network of community food projects already doing great work. This funding will help strengthen and connect these services, so everyone can find and access the type of support that best suits their needs.

More details on the programme and opportunities to get involved will be shared soon. by @gloucestersoup

Delighted to welcome students from two Greenshaw Learning Trust schools - @widdenprimary and @gloucester_academy - to pilot a Play in Urban Spaces for Health [PUSH] approach to designing/improving shared spaces in Gloucester. They were brilliant!

Hyper-local approach shared at lunch with vegetable soup and muffins from @gloucestersoup, @weareprojectgrow and @communityrootscic at @gloucestercathedral

The cats out the bag! We will be officially partnering with Reclaim the Night to offer hot soup after the march. As a fully female run business we believe in standing up against domestic violence. We will be offering a choice of soups alongside @gloucesterparkcommunitycafe who will be offering drinks and cakes. Come march in solidarity. #reclaimthenight
