The decriminalisation of attempted suicide could help remove one of the barriers that may prevent people in crisis from seeking help. A person experiencing suicidal thoughts should be able to reach out to a trusted person, healthcare professional, counsellor or support organisation without fearing that their vulnerability will result in criminal punishment.

My affirmation for today:

Today, November 3rd, I step into the day with faith, courage, gratitude and expectation.

I declare that good things are finding their way to me. Doors of opportunity are opening, the right people are connecting with me, and every step I take is bringing me closer to the life I envision.

I am not afraid of starting again, trying again or dreaming bigger. I have come too far to doubt the grace that has brought me this far.

Today, I affirm that:

I am deserving of opportunities that align with my purpose.

My voice will be heard, my work will be recognised, and my contributions will make a difference.

I attract meaningful partnerships, genuine friendships and destiny-aligned connections.
I am financially blessed, and I will experience abundance beyond my expectations.

I will not be confused about my direction; clarity is my portion.

I am walking into rooms where my ideas, experience and abilities are valued.

I will not compare my journey with anyone else’s.
Every disappointment is making room for a better perspective and a stronger version of me.

I am courageous enough to pursue the dreams God has placed in my heart.

Today will bring me reasons to smile, celebrate and give thanks.

HELLO, NOVEMBER!

A new month, a new chapter, another opportunity to witness possibilities unfold.

I step into November with faith in my heart, courage in my spirit and hope for all that is yet to come.

May this month bring unexpected opportunities, answered prayers, divine connections, meaningful relationships , open doors and beautiful testimonies.

May the things that once seemed impossible become possible. May delayed expectations find expression and may every seed planted in previous months begin to yield fruits.

I pray for clarity where there is confusion, strength where there is uncertainty, peace where there is pressure and grace for every journey ahead.

November, I welcome you with expectation. I am ready for growth, ready for new beginnings, ready for greater responsibilities and ready for the blessings that align with God’s purpose for my life.

I will not walk into this month with fear, but with faith. I will not shrink in the face of possibilities. I will show up, do my part, trust the process and believe again.

This month, I affirm:

I am positioned for possibilities.

Good things are finding their way to me.

My efforts will not be in vain.

I am worthy of the opportunities I pray for.

My steps are ordered and my path is illuminated.

I will have reasons to smile, celebrate and give thanks.

November will not just be another month on the calendar , it will be a month of confirmation, reaffirmation, alignment and beautiful possibilities.

I receive it. I believe it. I walk in it.

Welcome to November

Yesterday was one of those days that reminded me why conversations around mental health, wellbeing and community engagement matter.

It was a busy but fulfilling day, taking me across three different locations and creating opportunities to engage people on issues that affect our everyday lives.

My first engagement was at the weekend show @ait_weekendshow where, following a conversation on the realities of the festive season, the rising cost of living and increasing prices of goods and services.

Second engagement I had the opportunity to introduce KOVA App @kovapp.global and discuss its connection to mental health and emotional wellbeing. At the YALI NETWORK FACE TO FACE @yaliabuja

I highlighted how digital mental health support can help people become more intentional about their emotional wellbeing, practise self-care and access support when they need it. What made the conversation even more fulfilling was seeing people download the app, explore its features and share positive testimonials about how useful they found it.

Beyond the YALI engagement, I was also invited as a guest to speak on mental health and emotional wellbeing, with particular attention to depression, understanding trauma, recognising warning signs and practical steps towards healing and seeking appropriate support.

One thing remains clear: Mental health conversations should not be occasional conversations, they should become part of our everyday lives.

In a society where economic pressures, personal struggles, trauma and everyday uncertainties can take a toll on our wellbeing, we must create safe spaces where people feel seen, heard and supported.

I am grateful for every platform that creates room for these conversations and for everyone who listened, engaged, asked questions and took a step towards prioritising their mental wellbeing.

My commitment remains the same: using media, advocacy and strategic communication to make meaningful impact.

Evidence. Empathy. Impact.
