✨ PRODUCT REVIEW ft @simpleskin refreshing facial wash ✨

This is yet another review that is long overdue. I’m going to keep things short and as direct as I can.

This is a soap-free facial wash that is free of any strong actives or harsh chemicals. It has a thick like jelly texture. It comes in 150 ml tube packaging with a flip cap it has zero fragrance not only is this wash affordable, but it’s also gentle on the skin and contains Vitamin B5 & E to help strengthen/repair the skin barrier and prevent moisture loss. The lather is perfect, leaving my skin feeling refreshed without any artificial perfumes, colors or harsh Chemicals. Highly recommend it for all skin types

What I like ✅
-very affordable and easily accessible
-it’s kind to skin
-it’s non-stripping and makes my face feel refreshed
-Great cleanser to alternate with one that has actives

Cons
None : I initially didn’t like this wash the first time I used it but here we are I was surprised as how good and kind it was to my skin the hydrating properties even made me love it more, it doesn’t strip my skin. This product definitely lived up to its claims.

Rating ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5

Repurchasing ? yes but not now as I’m splurging other face wash

Have you tried this cleanser ?
What do you think ?
Would you want to try it ?

REVIEW OF @stivesskin ROSE WATER AND ALOE VERA

This body wash has less pros and more cons for me . The pros would be that it leathers very well and has this gel like feel on my skin that I really like I really do not know if this body wash has a fragrance I did not notice it

The cons
Will be it’s not really refreshing on my skin as stated on it and it dries my skin out which I did not notice initially until it broke my skin barrier especially my neck . It’s a good body wash was enjoying it initially until it started drying me out but personally for me I did not enjoy it I did not find it nourishing, refreshing and soothing to my skin

I will rate this body wash ⭐️⭐️⭐️/5

REVIEW OF @beautyofjoseon_official Relief Sun: Rice+probiotics SPF + PA++++

Hmmm this sunscreen🥹

🌞About the sunscreen

This sunscreen has a moisturizing cream formula which makes it ideal for days when you want to skip moisturizer. It contains 30% rice extract, niacinamide, green tea which helps in overall skin brightness

My Experience
This is the second worst sunscreen I have ever used I had high expectations for this sunscreen as @skindiarieswithinna_ raved about it but this sunscreen became opposite of the review for me It stings me crazy it leaves white cast and a subtle blue tint on my face , my face also feels heavy and very greasy upon application as if I used full cup of Vaseline on my face 😂it dulls my skin and glow, for me this sunscreen is a total NO even though I have seen great reviews too about this sunscreen I think it works better on fairer skin

I won’t be repurchasing again as I could not even use this sunscreen more than 3 times even while I was indoor

I’d rate this sunscreen 1/10

REVIEW OF THE EZANIC AZELAIC ACID

Ok guys I’m obsessed 🤩

After reading up the wonders of Azelaic acid I decided to include it in my routine with the hopes of controlling my breakouts and fading my hyperpigmentation and it didn’t disappoint

One of the major things I noticed was how fast it dried up my breakouts overnight kidding u not 😂 my skin texture also felt smoother the following morning,it also faded my post acne mark over time significantly.

Pros
1. Helps to improve skin texture
2.Helps in healing acne faster
3.Helps Fights the bacteria that causes acne

Cons
1.this gel can be too drying so i hydrate properly when it’s in my routine
2.it could peel depending on ur skin tolerance

I use this mostly in my night routine as a spot treatment to reduce they risk of irritation.
Although I would advice starting a lower concentration especially if you have dry and sensitive skin

I purchased this for about 3,500 naira from @shopwitteeka4

Have you tried Azelaic acid in your routine at all how did it go ?

Please like, share and save for future reference

CERAVE SA SMOOTHING CLEANSER REVIEW @cerave @cerave_africa truth be told this is probably they most affordable salicylic acid cleanser that isn’t irritated to the skin or harsh on the skin.

Most times it isn’t advisable to use a high percentage of SA cleanser on your skin as it can be stripping, drying and irritating. That’s why this cleanser is a great pick.

This particular cleanser gently cleanses while exfoliating the skin, without disrupting the protective skin barrier.

🫧 I love how gentle this cleanser is it didn’t strip my skin which I loved because I always run 😂away from cleansers that makes my face feel dry and tight this cleanse is effective as it made my face smooth, soft and helped with my whiteheads/blackheads and help prevent them also. It has a gel like consistency, gets foamy when you emulsify it with your hands I’d advise you use This cleanser everyother day as it can be drying for long term use and make sure you moisturize well I won’t be repurchasing this cleanser anytime soon as this is my 4th buy I’d rate it a 7/10

PRODUCT REVIEW ft @dove body wash and body lotion

If you’re looking for a body care on a budget, then the dove set has to be one of your go-to

🪷 The Dove Nourishing secrets is one of they best I have used so far the smell is so refreshing and soothing and this body wash contains rice water and lotus flower extract which I noticed brightened my skin and gave me this radiant glow

This body wash lathers well and washes of the skin easily leaving the skin smooth and feeling refreshed after use

Dove even tone effects body lotion is a must have I was skeptical about getting this but this lotion is the real deal it’s very moisturizing it doesn’t have overpowering smell it contains brightening ingredients like stearic Acid, vitamin B3, lactic acid, urea and so on this body lotion did everything it promises to do and even more it helped repair my tanned skin I started seeing results on my second week of using this lotion I’m definitely rating this 10/10

Hey guys, my name is Amaka.I’m a skincare enthusiast. I'm super excited to be sharing my skincare Journey with everyone of you.

✨I have a combination skin, my major
Skin Concern are acne and hyperpigmentation.
As a teenager I battled with acne which made me develop a low self esteem ,I found myself buying different kinds of creams /organic in a bid to fight off these acne , these creams worked perfectly to a point and then started stripping me off my natural skin tone.I also noticed Once I stopped using them my skin gets worse than it use to be.

✨I started following a few of my faves for information on how to start my journey to having a better health skin. And my skin has transformed. It is not perfect or as healthy as it can be but trust me there is an improvement

✨Thank God for people like @theskinpriest @isaveskins @skinfiltrator @flawlessbyyuyu @hello.fiyin @skinandfitness they made me understand and embrace my skin and know what’s suitable
for it and what a healthy skin should look and feel like..

✨I will be sharing skin care routine and tips here I’m very much open to recommendations and learning .
