Shiny in the dark✨ A lot of this project came together late at night. Once all the welds were sanded smooth, it was time for the blackening acid. There’s plenty more to find out in the latest @pipeburn article. Check it out -Link in bio! #custom #motorcycle #handmade #handcrafted by @gm.motorcycles

The latest custom build from Giovanni Mariani from @gm.motorcycles is a 55hp, two-stroke Kawasaki KX250 wrapped in an almost alien-like, hand-formed aluminium monocoque. It was built on one side of the world for a motorcycle waiting on the other. And after eight years sitting dormant in Milan, this 1999 KX250 hasn’t returned to spend its life on a show stand. Giovanni built it for @wheels_and_waves, and then raced the living hell out of it. 📸 @de_ranieri_simone . Full story now on pipeburn.com by @gm.motorcycles
Alright, the goal here was to fit all the under-tail electrical components in place without cutting or modifying the original harness. The battery and fuses also need to remain accessible through the back panel. DONE ✔️ Carbon tail fairing by @paolo.tex #ducati #ducatimonster937 #custom #handcrafted by @gm.motorcycles
SUBFRAMING It’s time to set the tail fairing in place. The original Ducati Monster 937 subframe is made from composite material (CFRP), so it can’t really be modified. Let’s make a new one in aluminium. Do I have a plan? NOPE. Tail fairing @paolo.tex #custom #ducati #custommotorcycle #handcrafted by @gm.motorcycles
What if @paolo.tex iconic carbon-fiber Ducati S4R tail were fitted to a 2022 Monster 937? Seriously. Let’s do it! The next step is fabricating a new rear subframe to support it. Aluminum or chromoly? #ducati #ducatimonster937 #custom #custommotorcycle by @gm.motorcycles
