What a phenomenal festival it has been! We are absolutely blown away by the talent, dedication, and passion that lit up our stages this year. A massive, roaring congratulations to all our outstanding winners and nominees. Your performances were truly off the charts! 🏆✨🥂

You are officially invited to our Awards Party and Closing Bash! 🥂

This invitation is open to absolutely everyone. Whether you were an audience member cheering from the front row or part of the amazing show teams working hard behind the scenes, we want you there to celebrate with us.

This year is extra special. Not only are we wrapping up a fantastic 2026 fringe season, but we are also celebrating our 15th birthday. We have come a long way since those very first shows in just one venue. This year, we are celebrating across 17 incredible participating venues.

WE WON OUR FIRST AWARD! 🏆

We are absolutely thrilled to announce that WILDER! has won Best Play at the Manchester Fringe Awards!

We were also nominated for Best Comedy and Best Performance for Thomas Billiouw as Gregory Wilder.

Gratitude. That is the word. 🙏🏽✈️❤️

When we began the journey of FLIGHT: One Man’s Journey, we simply wanted to tell a human story — a story of leaving, arriving, family, identity, belonging and the meaning of home.

We never imagined where that journey might take us.

🏆 GREATER MANCHESTER FRINGE 2026 — WINNER: BEST IN FRINGE

And then at BUXTON FRINGE 2026, to receive three nominations:

✨ Best Production
✨ Best Acting
✨ Best New Writing

We are deeply grateful to Greater Manchester Fringe for welcoming our little one-man show, for believing in independent theatre, and for this beautiful and wonderfully eco-friendly trophy — something we will genuinely treasure. 🌱💚

And our heartfelt thanks to Buxton Fringe for recognising our work in three different categories. To have the performance, production and writing all acknowledged means more to our tiny team than I can properly put into words.

Most importantly, thank you to every single person who bought a ticket, sat in those rooms, laughed with us, travelled with Maneek, became emotional with us, spoke to us afterwards, wrote a review, recommended the show or simply told somebody else, “You should see this.”

A fringe show exists because audiences give it life.

Written and performed by "powerhouse" Barbara Diesel and directed by "fringe legend" Helen Parry, Dear Eliza was awarded "Best Play" at the Greater Manchester Fringe Festival in 2024, as well as being shortlisted for "Best Newcomer" in 2023 and making the top 40 out of 800 for the Brighton Fringe "Audience Choice Award" in 2024. Described as "captivating from start to finish" (A Youngish Perspective, 4.5 stars) and a "must watch" (Better Than Words, 5 stars), this show promises to make you laugh, then cry, and then laugh again.
