I am extremely excited to announce my commitment to continue my academic and athletic career while playing Division 1 baseball at Mercyhurst University!

First, I want to thank God for blessing me with the opportunity to play the game I love and for guiding me every step of the way.

A huge thank you to my parents and family for their endless support throughout this journey. None of this would have been possible without them.

Thank you to all of my coaches at Franklin Regional, All American, and Wow Factor for pushing me to become a better baseball player and person. I’m also incredibly grateful for all of my teammates who have helped me along the way.

Finally, thank you to Coach Latona, Coach Marinelli, and the entire Mercyhurst coaching staff for believing in me and giving me this incredible opportunity.

Chris has been a part of the All American Baseball family for much of his baseball life, first spending six years in the program as a Team All American player before returning to the organization as a coach in 2023. Since returning, he has served as a head coach at the 11u, 12u, and 14u levels, while also taking on an increased role in All American’s youth camps and clinics. As an instructor, Chris works primarily with hitters and first basemen, using his own experiences as a player to connect with and develop athletes throughout the program.

After his time with Team All American, Chris continued his playing career at Central Catholic High School before attending the University of Pittsburgh, where he played club baseball. His time at Pitt eventually provided his first opportunity to experience coaching at the collegiate level, spending two years as a member of the Pitt Club Baseball coaching staff. That experience, combined with his years at All American, helped shape his approach to coaching and further developed his passion for teaching the game.

Chris has also expanded his involvement in baseball through his work with Five Tool Northeast, where he is involved in media and scouting while helping the organization expand into new locations and markets.

For Chris, coaching at All American represents an opportunity to give back to a program that played an important role in his own life. Having once been one of the young players coming through the organization, he takes great pride in now helping shape the experiences of the players following in his footsteps and continuing the culture that helped make him the player, coach, and person he is today. by @go_team_aa

Coach Spotlight!

Nick Lagnese joined All American in the fall of 2023 and has since worked with players of all ages, coaching multiple teams during one of his seasons with the organization. Making the transition from umpiring summer baseball at All American Park to coaching for them has been one of the best decisions he has ever made. The relationships built with fellow coaches, families, and, most importantly, the players are what make the experience so rewarding and continue to motivate him every day.

Growing up, Nick spent much of his childhood playing travel baseball, which helped shape his love for the game and taught him valuable lessons both on and off the field. That experience inspired his desire to give back to the game that gave him so much. As a coach, he is passionate about helping the next generation develop into not only better baseball players, but also better people, while providing them with the tools and guidance to succeed in all aspects of life.

Prior to joining All American, Nick played baseball at Norwin High School, where he earned a varsity letter. He continued his baseball career at Mount Aloysius College, joining the program as a pitcher in 2018. His playing experience, combined with his passion for teaching the game, allows him to connect with players and support their growth both on and off the field. by @go_team_aa
