Today, on the International Day of Peace, we’re reminded that peace is not only the absence of conflict. It is also the presence of compassion and humanity in the way we live and treat one another.

It is feeding someone who is hungry, standing beside a family after a disaster, giving a child access to education, protecting the forests and communities that depend on them, and choosing to serve when we could simply walk away.

This is the heart of @godharmic.

Every day, we try to turn compassion into action, because the values we want to see in the world must first be lived by us.

As Ram Dass said, “To create a caring, loving, peaceful world, we need to act with care and love and peace.”

May we each do our part to create a more peaceful world.

🔔 KEYNOTE ANNOUNCEMENT#
DharmaCon 2026 is proud to welcome Hanuman Dass, Founder of Go Dharmic, as our keynote speaker.

Hanuman started Go Dharmic as a campaign for compassion and social action. Sixteen years later it’s over 3,000 volunteers, three million meals delivered, and libraries built for 60,000 children. Love All. Feed All. Serve All.

Seva isn’t a side project. It’s a discipline — and he’s crossing an ocean to talk to Hindu youth in Canada about how you build one that lasts.

DharmaCon is Canada’s premier Hindu youth leadership conference, hosted by the Hindu Students Council. Last year: 300+ youth, 60+ speakers, one day. This October, we go bigger.

📍 Etobicoke, ON · October 3, 2026

When Go Dharmic workers met 4-year-old Suraj, who lost his parents and grandparents in the Nepal floods, they asked him who his hero is and he said @virat.kohli. 🧡

A cricket bat brought a little joy, and showed the power of sport and our heroes to bring hope in the hardest moments. 🏏🙏 by @godharmicusa

Today, we honour what it truly means to be humanitarian.

It's showing up when hope feels distant. It's serving in disaster zones, sharing a meal with someone in need, and choosing compassion without expecting anything in return.

For the past 15 years, Go Dharmic has turned compassion into action. Together with our volunteers, we've served over 31 million meals, responded to crises, and supported communities across 190+ cities worldwide.

Every act of service, no matter how small, reminds us of one simple truth: humanity is at its strongest when we care for one another.

This World Humanitarian Day, let's keep showing up.

Around 11,000 people are homeless in Skid Row, Los Angeles.

Recently, our volunteers came together in to serve hundreds of warm vegan meals to those in need in the impoverished community. Alongside this, we organised a free clothing drive and placed water bowls for thirsty animals.

Although it spans just a few dozen city blocks, Skid Row is one of the largest unhoused communities in the United States. For the people here, access to food and other basic necessities remains a daily challenge. A hot meal, a clean shirt, or even a small act of kindness can be a powerful reminder that someone cares.

For us, seva is about more than meeting immediate needs. It’s about expressing loving presence and serving with compassion.

To everyone who volunteered, donated, and supported this initiative, thank you for making this possible.🧡 by @godharmicusa

आत्मौपम्येन सर्वत्र समं पश्यति योऽर्जुन।
सुखं वा यदि वा दुःखं स योगी परमो मतः॥
The highest yogi is one who sees the joys and sorrows of all beings as their own.
— Bhagavad Gita 6.32

This verse isn't just a teaching from the Gita. It is reflected in the life our founder, Hanuman Dass, has lived.

15 years ago, on a rain-soaked street in London, one simple act of kindness, offering a meal to someone in need, planted the seed of what would become Go Dharmic.

Since then, countless volunteers, supporters and communities have come together under Hanuman Dass's guidance, proving that compassion has the power to cross borders, cultures and circumstances.

Today, Go Dharmic stands as a living expression of a simple belief: Love All. Feed All. Serve All. Every meal shared, every life uplifted and every act of kindness carries that vision forward.

Happy Birthday, @hanuman_dass.

Your seva is the soul of this movement. Your light inspires us to keep walking, even when the road is long. May the world mirror back the love you so freely give. 🧡

Most of us don't set out to harm the planet. We simply make choices that feel convenient and normal. But these "small" choices we make every day rarely have small consequences.

A disposable cup used for minutes can remain in the environment for years. A tap left running while we brush our teeth could mean less water for someone who needs it. One piece of litter can become part of a much bigger problem.

This World Nature Conservation Day, let's remember that every choice counts.

Let's choose options that are kinder to the planet. Let's make more environmentally friendly and sustainable choices. Because small actions, repeated every day, can make a world of difference. by @godharmicusa

Today, on Nelson Mandela's birthday, we honour a life devoted to justice and the unwavering belief that each of us has the power to build a better world.

Born into a society divided by inequality, Nelson Mandela spent 27 years in prison. Yet when he walked free, he emerged not with bitterness, but a vision. To build a world where love triumphs over hate.

He once said: "A fundamental concern for others in our individual and community lives would go a long way in making the world the better place we so passionately dreamt of."

At Go Dharmic, through serving meals to those in need, supporting children's education, restoring the environment, and responding to communities in crisis, we strive to turn compassion into action every single day.

Because lasting change begins with simple acts of kindness. When we serve one another with love, we create the world Mandela dreamed of.

Some of the world's greatest changes begin in the quietest places: a compassionate heart, a gentle word, a simple act of kindness.

For decades, His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama has reminded us that compassion is a way of living. It is choosing to care for others, easing suffering wherever we find it, and recognising that every life is deeply connected.

At @godharmic, we are committed to turning compassion into action by feeding those in need, supporting children's education, planting trees, and standing alongside communities affected by disasters.

Today, on the birthday of His Holiness the Dalai Lama, we honour a life devoted to compassion, non-violence, and the belief that lasting peace begins in the human heart.

May his teachings continue to inspire us to live with kindness, serve selflessly, and love all beings.

Happy Birthday, Your Holiness. 🙏🧡 by @godharmicusa

These photographs capture the miracles of compassion that @godharmic has helped create over the past 15 years.

Each one tells a story of humanity at its very best: a hungry person receiving a warm meal, a child discovering the joy of learning, a community finding hope after disaster, a forest beginning to heal, and volunteers choosing to serve with open hearts.

What began as a simple belief “Love All. Feed All. Serve All.” has grown into a global movement of people choosing compassion every single day.

Along the way, we have learned that our greatest achievement has never been the projects we completed or the places we reached.

It is these moments.
The hope that replaces fear.
The smile that returns to someone's face.

Across villages and cities, across cultures and continents, Go Dharmic has walked alongside communities, not simply to provide support, but to inspire hope and remind people that they are never alone.

None of this would have been possible without the incredible volunteers, donors, partners, and well-wishers who have walked this journey with us. Every act of kindness, every hour of service, and every contribution has helped build a more compassionate world.

As we celebrate 15 years of service, we also look to the future with renewed purpose. by @godharmicusa
