I was born to shine ✨
I was raised as a light 💡 to the nations 🌎

Yesterday morning I ran my first ever 10KM race at the
@lagoscitymarathon and also won my first ever medal 🏅.

The medal is important but trust me , I learnt a few life lessons also which I will share during the week. For now let’s just still be in that mode of celebration 🎉 🎊.

Got to the finish line at 10:47 so that’s about 1 hour and a few minutes . This would be my personal best for now but i promise to do better next year 🤲🏾🤲🏾.

Thank you Jesus

They say don’t trust the process but trust God, but you can fall in love with the process.

This one was fast tho but I enjoyed it because it was my first time trying it out. I could only get a few pictures before calling it a day.

Going forward I’d love to do and explore more and like I said earlier fall in love with the process.

A good stretch is as important as the work out.

POV: You don’t need to be a professional athlete to train like one.

The people who change their lives are not the ones who focus on what it is, but the ones who focus on what could be.

DO YOU HAVE A VISION ?

Back on the road I had to get back on my feet again
I need to do this if I’m dreaming I could win again
Many are called but it’s you that I choose again
He gave his life up on that cross so I could live again
Took a step back for the sprint so I could leap again
Jumped so high I’m elevated I feel free again
Never forget where I’m coming from I’m at His feet again
I could see my faith rising high so I believe again

What did you have to sacrifice for a cause that seems bigger than you . For Michael it’s making a decision between his sports and school. Trying to find that balance between both is not an easy task but would be definitely key if possible.

Asking the wrong questions would stop you from winning more than your potential can or skill sets.

Two examples of the wrong questions that people ask are

1. What are the conditions ?
2. Who or what is the competition ?

Waiting for favorable conditions before making a move will only keep you in a cycle of delay. Of course it’s not a call to be reckless but the skill of a good sailor is tested and verified through rough seas.

Become aware of how awesome you’re and develop that which you have to the point that the opponents qualifications doesn’t disqualify you.

While It’s a blessing to have people around you that believes in you, it’s also important to know that you’re your number one fan. @ekwuemicheal

Of course you should give room to wise counsel but train your mind not to recognize impossibilities.
