I thought taking a break would kill my art business. I wasn't even sure if I could come back.

For three years, my shop was my lowest priority. I was busy figuring out motherhood, struggling with my new identity, and just trying to get through each day. BUT, I don't regret it a single bit.

The break gave me room to grow beyond being an artist. It reminded me that my worth isn't tied to my productivity, and that creativity doesn't have to be forced.

Now that both my kids are in school, I'm finding my way back to my art, with a slower approach this time. I'm still figuring things out, but I'm no longer stressing about the process.

If you've ever had to step away from something you love, I hope you know that it doesn't mean you've lost your way. Sometimes you grow in a different direction for a while, and sometimes you come back - or maybe you don't at all. Either way, it's okay. You'll be okay 🩷

Did any of these surprise you? I was surprised by how popular the spring items were! 🩷 My reopening sale ends tomorrow, Saturday, October 3rd. If you've still not grabbed your favs yet, click the link in my bio to shop before the sale window closes tomorrow!

What happens next? ✨ My shop will remain open for another two weeks until 18 October. Everything you see in the shop now will still be available, albeit at smaller discounts. After 18 October, my shop will be CLOSED until further notice ❌

That's not to say I'll be gone forever! I just feel like I want to focus entirely on creating my next collection, instead of worrying about shipping or packing during the in-between months. I'll still be making art and creating content, just not selling anything until next year 🥰 So if you want anything from my shop this year, remember to cart out while you still can!

Friendly reminder from someone who took a 3-year long break and somehow lived to tell the tale 😂 Rest is not a reward for finishing everything! Rest is NECESSARY 🫶🏻

Welcome to 🌟 nothing much diaries 🌟 Where nothing happens but I'm busy all day! I've always wanted to do a Day in my Life series but felt that my days are too boring... So I decided to just call it what it is haha. Follow along if you can relate!

Now that the craziness of the clearance sale is over, post office days are back down to once a week! It might not be as ✨exciting✨ anymore but it feels good to have a little more breathing room for creating art again 🥰

After taking a few years off to focus on motherhood, I’m slowly rebuilding my little art business, one small step at a time 🎨🌷 It's messy, it's chaotic, but it's beautiful and it's mine, so I am so grateful to be tired building the life I once prayed for 🩷

If you’ve had your eye on something in my shop, this is your sign ✨ My clearance sale ends this weekend, which means it’s your last chance to snag your favourites at sale prices! 🩷

My shop will be staying open after the sale. Prices will simply return to normal while I take my time to make new art (which I'm really looking forward to!) So if there’s a little something you’ve been wanting to bring home, now’s the time!

Thank you for making room for my art in your lives. It means more than you know 🥹

A tiny glimpse of what I've been working on 🩷 and also a reminder to myself... Instead of always expecting the worst, what if I tried being a little more hopeful?

Some lessons I've learnt from running my own art and stationery business for the past 4ish years ☁️✨ It hasn’t been easy, but I’m grateful for everything this journey has taught me so far. Still learning as I go, as always!
