Little moments from a sunny Sunday at Goldie’s. Good food, familiar faces, and neighbours getting to know each other. Bringing people together and feeding them well—that’s what it’s all about. ☀️🍂

You asked. We listened. Half-sized sandwiches have arrived! 🥪💛 We opened Goldie’s in a flash and we’ve been finding our rhythm ever since, with a little help from you, our beloved guests. One thing we’ve learned? Not everyone wants to eat like Jimmy 😂 So now you can get your sandwich fix in a smaller size. And for a little extra comfort, add a small 8 oz soup to any sandwich purchase for just $4. Yes, half sandwiches count! A little sandwich, a little soup, a whole lot of goodness.

Living in the Glebe just got even better as we welcome to the neighbourhood, Goldie’s Outpost!🐻🥖

We sat down with Jimmy, the owner of Goldie’s, to get the inside scoop on one of the newest businesses in the heart of the Glebe, known for its amazing sandwiches.

Are you a vegetarian? Comment down below…Jimmy has a sandwich just for you! Not a veggie lover? Try out the Porchetta, Jimmy’s favourite!

Looking for a place to call home in The Glebe, or just down the street in Centretown? Explore our apartments at clvgroup.com (http://clvgroup.com/) and make Goldie’s your go-to spot, just a short walk from your new place. by @goldiesoutpost

✨ LOCAL LOVE GIVEAWAY ✨

One of the Glebe’s most talked-about new spots isn’t on Bank Street. It’s on a neighbourhood corner, and people are already making the walk to @goldiesoutpost. 🥪☕️💛

That’s exactly the kind of place we love celebrating through GoodStory’s LocalLOVE series. Jimmy and his team care about what goes into the food, the quality of the coffee and how people feel when they walk through the door. You can pop in for a really good sandwich and feel welcome enough to stay a little longer.

To us, that’s what makes a walkable neighbourhood feel like home: local people creating places for neighbours to meet, linger and come back to.

We’ve teamed up with Goldie’s to give one lucky winner a $100 gift card! 🎉

How to enter:
▫️ Follow @goldiesoutpost and @goodstory.ca
▫️ Like this post
▫️ Tag someone you’d bring to Goldie’s. Each separate comment counts as one entry.

For one extra entry, share this post to your story and tag us. If your account is private, DM @goodstory.ca a screenshot so we can count it.

Entries close October 1 at 2 p.m. ET. The winner will be selected at random, contacted by DM from @goodstory.ca and must respond within 48 hours. Open to Ottawa residents aged 18+. No purchase necessary. This giveaway is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Instagram.

Good luck! And if you haven’t been to Goldie’s yet, take the walk over. We think you’ll love it too. 💛 by @goldiesoutpost

UPDATE: Applications are now closed — thank you! 💛
We’ve been absolutely blown away by the response to this post and have received more applications than we could have imagined. We’re going to take some time to work through everyone who has applied so far. Thank you so much for wanting to be part of Goldie’s! We’re hiring at Goldie’s! 💛

We’re looking for kitchen staff and baristas to join our little team in the Glebe. Experience is an asset, but a great attitude, strong work ethic and a genuine love of good food, coffee and hospitality matter just as much.

Send your résumé to Jimmy@goldiesglebe.ca — we’d love to meet you!

PARTNER SPOTLIGHT 🔦

@goldiesoutpost is new to the Glebe, but already feels like a neighborhood staple.

Focused on high quality, locally-sourced ingredients, the team at Goldie's delivers a truly amazing experience that centers around hearty, housemade sandwiches, @themerrydairy ice cream, freshly squeezed OJ (!!) and of course - delicious coffee. All served up in their signature comfy, cozy and laid-back ambiance.

We're stoked to be a part of this stunning lineup. They're pulling sweet shots of our pillar series Nasa Community Blend from @nasauycafe and feature a rotating selection of our menu on drip and in bags.

Pro tip: get the salted caramel affogato and let it change your life like it did to us!
