Golf shopping in Japan, my top tips ⛳🇯🇵✨

1. Clubs 🏌️‍♀️
So many second hand AND new clubs! Always check the final price though. After taxes and shipping, it isn't always cheaper 👀

2. Clothing 👗
I went as Japan headed into winter, so all the summer gear was on sale (it's spring/summer back home in Australia 🇦🇺). Not everything is cheaper, but there are SO many Japanese exclusive pieces, and the variety in women's (and men's!) clothing is amazing 😍
Japanese sizing is a thing! Try everything on and forget the number on the tag. If it fits, it fits! I'm usually a small, but in Japan I was a small, medium AND large 🤷‍♀️

3. Pick an area 📍
Tokyo is HUGE. Choose one area, spend the whole day there, and explore the stores.

4. Wear comfy shoes 👟
14,000-20,000 steps a day is no joke! Try doing it with a 3 year old who doesn't want to walk, on your hip and shoulder. Hello, extra workout 😂💪🏻

Happy shopping! 🛍️💕

Took about 7 weeks to receive the driver and putter cover in Australia , but love the colours @fore.all matches with my @vs.golfstaples wood and hybrid covers - highly recommended club covers! … Just in time as I lost my putter cover in Bowral! My club are in my Ping Cart bag… yes I run two bags one for the range and one for the course. Why you ask? Because I am extra like that. 😂💚⛳️ by @golfxsonia

EPISODE 2: We made another golf friend from the internet ⛳️🤝

Meet Sonia! Did you know we’re professional beginners? We’re qualified in losing balls, giving each other questionable directions and having an absolute blast anyway 😂

@golfxsonia, thank you for such an awesome round. I’m very glad we internet strangered our way into a golf friendship 🤝 by @golfxsonia

Its been 10.5 months since I started golf. How about you? When did you start golf? And what made you start golfing? #golf #beginnergolfer #golfinggirls by @golfxsonia

Hi, I’m Sonia, A professional beginner golfer… (when does one stop being a beginner) 🤷‍♀️. by @golfxsonia

It’s been hard finding my rhythm the last week after being away. But went to my coach to determine what I was doing wrong. I don’t know what I would do without Scotty @ipswichgolfandputtputt. But apart from a few pulls to the right because my body went before my arms 😅. It was a great session. Yes, I am dress like I just went to the gym because I did. Happy golfing!! 💚⛳️🏌️‍♀️#golf #beginnergolfer #golfinggirls #golfing #golfaddict by @golfxsonia

Confessions of a golf addict. Does anyone else train at the gym like they’re about to play the LPGA? I do thanks to my Ex phys @golfstrengthlab by @golfxsonia

It’s been almost two weeks since I touched my clubs. With all the rain I had to cancel my tee time on Friday, so I did the next best thing… I headed to the driving range for my fix, like an addict. 🤣😅 Praying to mother nature that it won’t rain tomorrow! 💚⛳️🏌️‍♀️ #golf #beginnergolfer #golfinggirls #golfing #golfaddict by @golfxsonia

When I started this page it was just my personal diary of my golfing journey. Playing with people I meet, while watching my progression as a ‘professional beginner’. A a lot of you don’t know this but not too long ago I would never be able to be confident enough to post something as simple as a story narration. Since becoming a professional beginner, it has helped me achieve and overcome so many things and one of them being social anxiety. In 10 months of golf, I had my first golf lesson, first time on a course, first golfing competition, first time in a long time just meeting a stranger to play golf.

Thank you for following my journey and to some of you thank you for cheering me on and helping me keep my head up. Thank you for the positive supportive community. Thank you to the golf friends I’ve made, you are all amazing. Here’s to 1000 followers. 🥳 See you on the green! 💚🏌️‍♀️ by @golfxsonia

Spent the day with this amazing human @lisagolfs ! We had so much fun, and had so many laughs. I didn’t film a lot of stuff today, I focused on just having great laughs and playing a great game for us professional beginners. So grateful to have met some of the best people playing golf. 😍💚⛳️ by @golfxsonia

Played my first comp today! 🥳🥳🥳 Ripped the bandaid off. Scored 37 stableford points 🙏🏼. Had a run of bogey’s! 😏 who knew it was so fun! Will be playing the next comp after i get back from Japan. 😍😍😍🏌️‍♀️⛳️ by @golfxsonia

Can you tell I haven’t been on a golf course for days? 😂😂 I am having withdrawals. I’m posting pictures imagining I am on a golf course somewhere. But I am in bed, I have caught a bug. by @golfxsonia
