Chatter bait convinced many to have a chew

These toga certainly weren’t fussy with anything we threw past them. If anything the more commotion the better, with some fish even coming from the complete other side of the pool just to see what all the fuss was about. Plus with a weed guard protecting the hook, this was the only lure I didn’t put into the sticks 😂

No F*****g Way 🤯!!!

Been a solid week or so since I’ve been able to get out back onto the water so I decided to have a bit of a solo morning sesh, to my disbelief I managed not only my 4th Queensland Grouper but my biggest too 🐝 🐟!!!
-
I’m having such an unbelievable season right now considering I’m having more luck on the grouper than I am on the jacks 😆!

Fun sunrise Barra from the dam!
Few good fish caught over the last couple trips, definitely a lot more of this to come over the next few months!

There were a few fish I was really hoping to tick off since arriving in the Cape and this unique species was one of them. Having not laid eyes on one all season I’d pretty much given up hope until this tripletail came drifting past on the surface under the bridge lights. I thought the 6” paddle would spook him but I only had time for one cast before he would drift out of view. Luckily enough he smoked it as soon as it rolled past his nose. Such a cool critter 🔥

What do you guys think? 👀 Do you like double handles and balancers on spinning reels? 🤔 I find they feel amazing especially for eging! 🎣🔥
