Sharing thrift finds, vintage & antique treasures that somehow followed me home.

Two Marketplace sales today—and my first for things I handcrafted! 🎉 These little Christmas cuties are heading to new homes.

Turns out “I could make something with that” occasionally pays off. A fun little milestone for good lil pickins!

Our first craft fair together—officially in the books! A lot of hard work, plenty of laughs, new connections, and fresh ideas for what’s next.

Somewhere between “we should try this” and setting up a whole booth, we’ve given Good Lil Pickins and Entertain Everyday a lot to be proud of. Our husbands deserve a little credit for the heavy lifting—literally.

We left with tired feet and more ideas than we arrived with.

Free wood. Five miles away. Apparently that’s my version of a flash sale.

No project in mind, but I wasn’t about to let that stop me.

Anybody else collect other people’s rubbish like they’ve just won something?

🍁 “Gather ‘round ghosts, for the harvest moon is up!” 🎃

Apparently, I have a soft spot for characters who look a little worn out and mildly suspicious. Fell in love with these three and their perfectly imperfect faces. A few twigs, a little straw, and they’ve made themselves right at home.

Out here collecting sticks, leaves, and branches like I’ve got a plan… because this time, I actually do.

Any guesses what I’m making for the craft fair? Drop yours below—reveal coming soon!

Chippy salvage pieces collected here and there, an old ice cream bucket from Lucketts Fall Market, and a little fall tucked in between. Pulled it all together for a spot on my front porch.

Apparently, I rescue plants now, too.
Stopped by the country store, where an overabundance of mums meant some of the fully bloomed ones were marked FREE. Five dollars and eight mums later… here we are.

A little past their prime? Maybe. Still worth bringing home? Absolutely. That’s pretty much the Good Lil Pickins philosophy.

A day with the girls at Lucketts Fall Market, a shared weakness for vintage and antiques, and a wagon full of treasures. by @good_lil_pickins

It’s the most wonderful time of the year… and Santa has nothing to do with it. Lucketts Fall Market, let’s go treasure hunting!

Old banisters, stray furniture legs, salvaged bits and pieces… I cannot say no to this chippy goodness. Do I have a spot for them? Not yet. Will I eventually sell them? Possibly. But apparently neither is a requirement for bringing them home.

What’s the one thing you can never pass up?

An antique store that’s this organized AND has prices that make you do a double take? Yes, please.

Found this little gem in Elk River, WV, and loved browsing every corner. So many treasures, everything easy to shop, and prices that left room for “well, maybe one more thing.”

Exactly my kind of stop.
