Simple to use, drag and drop, copy and paste. Build for speed so you can worry about telling your story, and less about designing. by @goodtreatments

Don’t get caught up in the unimportant parts of treatment writing. Granted, every element should be considered, but here are the three most important aspects of any good treatment:

1. Keep it simple. Don’t overload your audience or client with tons of text. If you can say something in one sentence, use one sentence. Any good client wants to SEE your vision just as much as they want the shot-for-shot breakdown. Make sure it is concise, clear, and supported with good images, and especially -
2. Moving images. A lot of directors are moving to platforms such as Google Slides for this one simple reason: moving images are being used more and more in pitches. Simply put, they are more captivating and offer a closer perspective to what the finished piece will look like. Utilize GIFs in your treatments when necessary, but again, don’t overload the entire treatment with any one form.
3. Good design. This is where we step in because most directors are not designers. You have good taste in design, which makes you a great director, but taking the time to create a unique design for every single treatment is incredibly time-consuming. If you have a fast turnaround on a treatment, this becomes even more important. Utilizing great design for your treatment is a must, so we’ve made your job super easy with our treatment templates.
