From a Follow to Forever 💍

It all started with an Instagram follow in 2016.

We became platonic friends… nothing more, nothing less.

Six years later, he confessed his love for me. (I had no clue he felt that way. 🥹)

Three years ago, I took a leap of faith and moved from Houston to Dallas… and we’ve been inseparable ever since.

Ten years after that very first follow, he got down on one knee.

The rest is history. 💍

Best. Birthday. Ever. 🤍🥹 #shesaidYes by @gorgeous_threat

I thought we were just taking birthday pictures…

Instead, he asked me to spend forever with him. 🥹

The best birthday surprise of my life.

A PRAYING MAN WILL ALWAYS HIT DIFFERENT… 🥹🙏🏽❤️

Because anybody can tell you they love you, but hearing the man you love take time to pray over your life, your peace, your purpose, and your future? THAT’S A DIFFERENT KIND OF LOVE. 💍❤️ by @gorgeous_threat

The goal is to be fine together FOREVER! by @gorgeous_threat

Happy 4 years to us, my love! ❤️🥹🥂 Four years of love, growth, lessons, laughter, and becoming better together. I’m so proud of the man of God you’re becoming, and I pray you never stop growing into everything God has called you to be.

You’re so much more than my fiancé; you’re my best friend, my safe place, my answered prayer, and the man who makes parts of me that were once broken feel safe enough to heal. You’ve healed my childhood trauma!

You’ve shown me a kind of love that reminds me that I don’t always have to be strong, that I can let my guard down, and that I deserve to be loved gently, too.

Thank you for loving me, growing with me, and being my person through it all. I don’t take you, our love, or the life we’re building together for granted.

Four years down, forever to go! 💍❤️ I pray God continues to cover our relationship, strengthen our bond, and prepare us for the beautiful marriage and future He has in store for us. I’d choose you in every lifetime, my best friend. I love you endlessly! 😘❤️🙏🏽 #4YearsTogether #MyBestFriend #GodOrdained #ForeverToGo by @gorgeous_threat
