🚀 A weekend well spent at Shipaton – @theindehub Chapter 16!

From 💡 Idea → Build → Iterate → Ship — got a hands-on look at how AI is changing the way we build products.

Big takeaway: AI can make us faster, but the idea, creativity, decisions, and product thinking still come from us. 🤖✨

Explored tools like Codex, Cursor, ChatGPT, Claude & Grok and saw how they can help turn ideas into working products much faster.

Less talking. More building. 🔥

Huge thanks to $Swapnanildhol and the IndeHub community for an amazing learning experience!

✨ Every journey has a starting point… here’s ours ✨

Back in 2016, my application for a Game Development Workshop at IIT Madras (Shaastra) was accepted. It was my first time attending such a big event.
From Tiruvannamalai to Chennai, I travelled alone (unfortunately my friend @shravz.dev missed this event)

❌ no Android phone
📱 just a keypad phone (I have a different story to tell about this phone 👀)
📸 screenshots of maps & bus details

As always, my senior @barath.jb helped me navigate the huge @iitmadrasofficial campus 🙌
I stayed there for 2–3 days, met amazing students, built new connections, and experienced a whole new world.

That’s when something special happened 👇
I saw a student who had built his own 3D printer and was printing small models live.
My inner child went crazy 🤯
I bombarded him with questions like a school kid.

He casually said:
“It’s a prototype. You can build one yourself for around ₹18k.”

At that time, ₹18k felt like a huge amount.
But I told myself:
👉 One day, I’ll own a 3D printer.

From that moment on, I stayed obsessed.
From Creality to Bambu, machines, filaments, printer issues, upgrades, 3d modeling software — I followed everything.

Every 3D printed model, toy, or reel on Instagram or YouTube?
📌 Saved. (I have 100+ saved reels 😅)

I even had a habit of checking printer websites like window shopping on Amazon — staring at wishlist items for no reason 😂
Then in November, I noticed an offer on Bambu printers.
Checked the official dealers in India…
And this time, it was affordable — because I could finally buy what I wanted with the money I earned from my job 😁
I called my brother.
He simply said:
“If you’re really into it, go for it.”
That’s it.
We ordered the Bambu Lab A1 (and yes, I named him Mr. Genie 🧞‍♀️)
And that’s how ARK’s 3D Lab was born 🚀
🎯 Our mission
To help people print their wishlist models
To turn ideas, memories, and dreams into something you can hold
I just want to be a friendly neighbourhood guy with a 3D printer 🕷️🕸️😁
If you have:
✔️ A 3D model in your wishlist
✔️ An idea or prototype to build
📩 Feel free to reach out
We’re here to help.
