Spadefish are known for forming large, tightly packed schools—often dozens to well over a hundred strong—which helps protect them from predators, and makes encounters like this jaw-dropping 100+ even more incredible

Meet Mr. Squid, my little buddy this morning — graceful and curious. What he doesn’t yet know is that we are polluting his home. Plastic, fishing line, and rubbish wash in, threatening his reef and his future.

But there’s hope: over 2.4 million pieces of marine debris have been removed and reported by divers through PADI AWARE’s Dive Against Debris program.
PADI also aims to reduce marine debris by 50% in targeted countries through partnerships and PADI AWARE’s Grant Program.

We can change this. We can clean up, speak up, and support the dive community’s efforts. Together, we can make sure Mr. Squid’s ocean stays as magical and healthy as he deserves.

$🌊By 2050, there could be more plastic in the ocean than fish 🪸In just 5 minutes of snorkeling, this was all I could carry—I dropped it off and went back for more. Over 30 minutes, I gathered only a fraction of what’s out there 🐡Among the rubbish were some truly beautiful creatures. As divers, we have the chance to help protect these oceans so future divers can enjoy them just as much as we do 🌍Don’t just do it because it’s PADI AWARE week by @gracedives$

What a crazy (but amazing) week at work! Had Billy and PYNX down, filled with lovely dinners, exciting boat trips, and of course plenty of beautiful sea moments 🌊✨

When’s the next one?…😉 by @gracedives

Soaking up the calm at Sandy Cay before diving back into the working life… A little reset before the next adventure begins🧜🏼‍♀️🏝️ by @gracedives

Back in the water, reminded why I started. It’s not all work, and i can’t wait to share it with people!

No point doing it if you’re not going to have any fun…🪸🌊 by @gracedives

13 days of IDC, 2 days of IE, countless Nature Valley bars, liters of saltwater, way too much black coffee, and 12-hour marathon days… and it’s DONE! 💪 It was tough, intense, and absolutely worth it. All that hard work has paid off—and I know it will continue to do so in the future.

I’m officially a Scuba Instructor! 🌊🐠 Now, onto the next adventure: finding that first job and diving into this amazing new chapter!

Thank you @juliaherzog1 and @stephenjaynsley for putting up with us all!💙 by @gracedives

On Wednesdays we wear pink... even under water!🌊🌸

It’s the final lE day eek!...🫣 by @gracedives

With our IDC coming to an end it’s time to clean out those @paditv bags and get ready for the IE! 📚 but first let’s take a peek into Grace’s bag & see what she’s been using throughout her IDC 🤿
