one year ago today my life changed forever. i lost the most important person in my life. my bestfriend. my rock. my biggest supporter. you’re still one of the biggest parts of who i am. grief has changed me, but so did your love. i miss you more than i can ever explain, and i’m learning to live with the space you left. a year without you has taught me how deep love really goes and how you can never take it for granted. i carry your memory everywhere, in every choice and every step. some days are heavy, some days it feels like yesterday, and some days it feels like forever. but not a day goes by where i don’t think about you in the little moments, the songs you loved, the things you used to say, the way you always cheered me on. i miss your voice, your advice, your laugh, your hugs, and the way you always made everything feel okay. i wish i could tell you everything that’s happened, but i hope you see it all from where you are. nothing has been the same, but i carry you with me in everything i do. i hope you're proud up there. grief doesn’t get lighter, i just get stronger carrying it.

the sweetest and most caring soul i have ever met. this world didn't deserve you. nothing will ever compare to the love you gave me and i'll miss it forever.

i like to imagine you're where the wild things are w uncle bill.
love you forever and ever. one year without you feels like a life time. 🙏🕊️🤍 by @gracee.june
