1 John 3:16- ā€œThis is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down His life for us.ā€ by @gracie.staunches
Itā€™s officially bestieā€™s birthday!! What are you, like 30 now? Jokes aside, I canā€™t believe Iā€™ve been blessed with almost two years of being your best friend. In the grand scheme of things, two years isnā€™t that long. But since the day you showed up in lab and decided to sit next to me, I have felt like Iā€™ve known you forever, and now, I canā€™t picture life without you in it. I know God sent you my way at the perfect time, knowing we would need each other. So hereā€™s a thank you- for never missing a call or good morning text, for being the person I run to first with anything and everything, for showing me genuine friendship, and for sharing your little girl with me. Iā€™ve never been so proud to call someone my friend. Words canā€™t express how grateful I am for you. I love you! May 26 be the year you deserve. ā¤ļø by @gracie.staunches

Had the best weekend celebrating @warringtonpaige by @gracie.staunches
The first time I visited UT, I was terrified. Terrified of leaving my small hometown. Terrified of change. But regardless, a gut feeling told me this was the place for me. It was one of the only schools I applied to, and I was going to get in. Arriving at UT was no different. I was overwhelmed walking my class schedule, and when I first started school, would have nervous breakdowns after every test. But as time went on and I adjusted, I began to love this school so much. It has given me some of the best friends, so many opportunities to learn, and a chance to challenge myself. After the last 4 years, and lots of hard work and memories along the way, I canā€™t believe itā€™s finally graduation day. The girl who first started wouldnā€™t believe how far she has come (or that sheā€™s actually graduating Magna Cum Laude like she always dreamed). I will surely miss what has become my second home, and I am forever grateful for everything it gave me, as well as all the friends and family who kept believing in me along the way. Today, I am grateful for change. šŸŽ“ā¤ļø And to my mom: I would be nowhere without you. Thank you for all the times you calmed me down after a test or bad day, for listening to my never ending studying, and for always believing that I am capable of accomplishing my dreams. This is only possible because of you. by @gracie.staunches

There are some people you meet and you feel like youā€™ve been friends for the longest time. I remember sitting in dev bio lab excited when you decided to move next to me after only talking for a couple minutes. I donā€™t think thereā€™s been a day thatā€™s gone by where we havenā€™t talked since then. I guess, in that moment, we decided we were stuck together. But this friendship is even cooler- it came with a tiny human! How special is it that I gained a friend and a niece in one? How blessed am I to have someone to run to with everything, to call on my drives home, and whoā€™s equally as weird as me? You have a heart of gold and you inspire me everyday. Thank you for putting up with me, and most importantly, for being the best friend that Iā€™ve always prayed for. Special thank you to CMA for the past year and a half. Iā€™ve had the opportunity to learn so much, meet some amazing people, and work with so many special animals. It will be missed :,( CMA staff, interns, and volunteers perform all turtle activities under an FWC permit. These individuals are specifically trained to interact with these threatened and endangered species in a manner that is appropriate for the individual turtle. by @gracie.staunches
