Earlier this month, our Executive Director, Kara Rodenhizer, joined two wonderful community partners, Tory Jennison, Executive Director of the @nhpublichealthassociation, and Todd Marsh, Rochester Welfare Director and President of the New Hampshire Municipal Welfare Association, for a conversation about compassion at @leadership_seacoast ’s annual Leadership Summit.

For us at Home for All, this conversation really gets to the heart of why we do what we do.

Our Pop-Up Care Villages are a great example of what happens when people and organizations come together, bring what they can to the table, and make it a little easier for our neighbors to get the care and support they need.

And that’s the thing about compassion. It doesn’t have to be complicated. Sometimes it starts with listening, making a connection, or simply showing up. Those small things matter, and when we do them together, they can make a big difference.

A big thank you to Leadership Seacoast and Lori Waltz for including Home for All in this conversation, to Andy DeMeo of @granitegoodness for guiding it, and to Tory and Todd for being such thoughtful partners in this work.

We’re lucky to be part of a community with so many people who care deeply about their neighbors and, more importantly, put that care into action. ❤️

Still REELING from emceeing the @leadership_seacoast summit. Too many people I love and respect here, felt like a family reunion.

So enjoyed getting to introduce two of my fav people @aryall4 & @nadja_fromm and moderate a panel featuring great work from @homeforallseacoast

@urockmarketing set the stage with a legendary keynote, and taught us the true meaning of throwing spaghetti on the wall

@zaclittle and @kateconstantinee and @justasknora were also kind of cool I guess, and some guy from @kennebunksavings named Doug who people kept applauding when I said his name
