Here are all the ideas I came up with for the Rookies competition this was some time ago the whole theme was to create something with a power source to function so as you can see a designed to robots and two Golem's. The first three use a cluster of crystals the fourth character uses a gemstone.

The first character and third one have there crystals located in their head while the middle character has his one in his chest. The golem the last one has the gemstone on his forehead.

This is another golem I created for the Rookies contest this theme was something like creating an organism with a power source and this is what I came up with. The power source is the gemstone in the middle of its forehead and there are two small glowing ones for the eyes.

As you can see it's more metallic compared to my last one if you've seen it it has spikes on its shoulder and a claw like spike protruding from its hand and it has a chain wrapped around it's body the inspiration for this is Alphonse from fullmetal alchemist and a bit of ghostrider from the Marvel.

This is another concept I have done in one of the past Rookies contest the theme was something about creating an organism with some sort of power source. I came up with this golem-like creature you can see the crystal which is the power source on its see through the glass head and he is holding a mace as a weapon.

I've drawn another original character who is a hard working farmer with a monkey as his assistant. This is a semi-realistic anime style I'm still learning anatomy and the form is a little off but I'm learning.

This is more behind the scenes the process and the struggles e.g anatomy, references and just plain trial and error. if you enjoy the video consider sharing and saving the video. If this video motivates you or inspires you to practice or creating your own art particularly if your an artist consider following if you want to see more.

Posted this original character before you can see the original post on the second slide. I guess the character is suffering and in need that is why her left hand is opened out to us as if she is expecting money or something she has some drink in her hand and there are two cats that look like they're in some kind of need as well.
