👀 Feast your eyes on some new art by local artist Alonzo Harrison during the First Friday Art Walk next week! In this exhibition, Alonzo explores his own distinctive style and voice as an artist. I just closed out my Solo show that was up at the Greeley Creative Arts Center for September. We had a great time at the opening with live music by Eli Morin and Grace Lusk that really set the mood with their jazzy tunes. I gave an artist talk about my journey this year that began in January with exploring wet-in-wet watercolors, then working on acrylic 12x12” paintings as a member of Art2Life’s, Creative Visionary Program in March-June. What a ride this has been! It did not stop there - I worked with brand strategist, Mariana Durst to develop artist alchemy statements that led to my artist statement and my show title Curiosity, Wonder and Joy. Due to that process, I now have a solid foundation that helped me build my new website at BDunningArts.com. From there you can visit my blog, follow me on Instagram or sign up to get quarterly updates on how I am living my creative life. @nicholaswilton @bdunningarts @gracelusk @elimorin18 @marianadurststudio @balloonartbymerrymakers by @greeleycreativedistrict
