This year, we challenged the team to dress up as what they’d be if they weren’t architects or designers. Turns out, we’ve got quite a few backup careers around here. 👀

We asked our team a simple question: What’s the best thing about working at Greenleaf Architects? 🌿

Turns out, there’s a lot to say!

We’re excited to share that Greenleaf Architects has been named one of New Orleans CityBusiness’ 2026 Best Places to Work!

This recognition means a little more when it comes from the people who make this place what it is every day. 💚

Little Blue Door in Downtown Covington 🍸

Located in the historic district of Downtown Covington, Little Blue Door reimagines a once-overlooked structure as a moody, intimate cocktail lounge full of character and atmosphere.

This renovation was all about transformation and preserving the charm of the existing building while introducing rich materials, subdued lighting, and intentional design moments that create a refined and immersive experience. The result is a space that feels both timeless and unexpected.✨

A good day on the course for an even better cause. ⛳️☀️💚

We were proud to support the 3rd Annual MKO Foundation & Mystic Krewe of Olympia Charity Golf Tournament at Tchefuncta Country Club! 🏌️‍♂️

The MKO Foundation helps raise support for local nonprofits throughout the Northshore, and we’re always grateful for opportunities to get out of the office, spend time with our community and support organizations doing good close to home. 🤝🌿

Thanks to everyone who made it such a great day! ⛳️👏

The Greenleaf team is growing! 🌿✨

We’ve welcomed two new faces over the past few months, Matthew Dufrene + Alexis Guidry. Matthew joins our architecture team as an Architectural Associate, while Alexis joins our Interiors Department as an Interior Design Intern.

We’re excited for the fresh perspectives, creativity and energy they’re bringing to the studio. 💚

And yes, we may need to reintroduce everyone to Kyle. 😂

We made the LSU100!🏆

Greenleaf Architects has officially been named one of the 100 fastest-growing LSU graduate-owned or led businesses for 2026, making this our fifth LSU100 recognition! As a 2009 graduate of the LSU School of Architecture, Justin’s LSU roots run deep, so getting to celebrate Greenleaf’s growth alongside fellow Tiger-led businesses makes this one pretty special.

A huge thank you to our team, clients + partners who continue to grow with us and make milestones like this possible.

Breaking ground at Independence Leadership Academy! 🏫🎉🚧

Yesterday, we joined Tangipahoa Parish School System, Independence Leadership Academy, Domain Architecture, and Guy Hopkins Construction to celebrate the start of a new eight-classroom addition to the ILA campus. ✨

The new building will include eight classrooms, including two dedicated SPED classrooms, along with restroom access from each classroom, two offices and a staff breakroom.

Designed with a brick façade and asphalt shingle roof, the addition will carry forward the look and feel of the existing campus while creating more space for ILA’s students, teachers and staff. 📚💛

We’re excited to see this one come to life!👏
